The mid-range Hotel Menage strives to offer an upscale experience at a budget price, and does a fairly good job at it. All rooms are spacious and include mini-fridges, coffeemakers, patios or balconies, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s main restaurant, American Tavern Eatery & Drink, serves comfort food and craft cocktails as well as an extensive hot breakfast buffet, which is free for all guests. The fitness center is open late and has a variety of cardio and weight machines. There are stylish ballrooms, multiple meeting rooms, and a modern business center.

The upper-middle-range Doubletree Suites by Hilton Hotel Anaheim Resort-Convention Center is a stylish chain hotel. Its 251 contemporary rooms come with flat-screen TVs, microwaves, mini-fridges, and Cuisinart coffeemakers. The business center, with three computer stations and two printers, is open 24 hours a day, as is the fitness center, which has machines, free weights, and medicine balls. The nightly Disneyland fireworks are visible from the hotel's rooftop pool and hot tub, and there are three Italian-inspired restaurants: Agio Ristorante, Cafe Biscotti, and Grappa Lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including the 7,500 square feet of meeting and event space.

The large Mission-style Anabella is right next to the Anaheim Convention Center and a short drive to Disneyland and the California Adventure Park. The 358 rooms here range from standards to suites, and all have free Wi-Fi and classic, muted decor. There are two pools on the property, one of which is a designated quiet space, and a restaurant with a twice-daily happy hour and extensive a la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within walking distance of the Anaheim Convention Center, the mid-range Courtyard Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is a popular choice for business travelers. The 153 rooms are clean and spacious, with mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, comfortable beds, and flat-screen TVs. The contemporary hotel features an outdoor pool/whirlpool, a fitness center, a business center, meeting space, and a 24/7 market. Its bistro/bar serves Starbucks coffee, but breakfast is not included in room rates. There are guest laundry facilities, as well as valet dry-cleaning and laundry services. Free newspapers are available in the lobby and secure parking is offered at reasonable rates.

Busy with convention delegates and vacationing families, the mid-range Hyatt Place at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is a bright and contemporary hotel with attractive features. Amenities include a free hot breakfast buffet with lots of options, a 24-hour market and dining service, an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a business center, and meeting space for up to 80 people. The 178 rooms are clean and spacious with queen-size sleeper sofas, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, safes, ironing facilities, and free Wi-Fi is free.

The Fairfield is a large hotel that caters to Disney-going families, but also travelers in town on business, with a business center, free hotel-wide Wi-Fi, and more than 1,600 square feet of meeting space. Standard amenities in the 467 rooms are flat screen TVs, coffeemakers, and mini-fridges. Hotel deatures include a heated pool and a whirlpool -- both open year round -- plus a large game room and a cafe/Pizza Hut Express serving breakfast (for a fee) and dinner. The adjacent Panera Bread restaurant also delivers to the hotel, and the hotel’s marketplace sells food and beverages, including alcohol. 

The mid-range Hotel Indigo Anaheim sits within walking distance of the Anaheim Convention Center. Decor plays on the area's agricultural history, with the use of wood, splashes of green, and nature-inspired murals. The 104 rooms come with Keurig coffeemakers, iPod docking stations, flat-screen TVs, and mini-fridges; bathrooms have walk-in mosaic-tile shower stalls, but no tubs. The outdoor pool and hot tub area has striped loungers and tented cabanas. Chambers Bar & Bistro, which serves breakfast and dinner, focuses on local cuisine and wines, and hosts a happy hour that many guests say is a highlight. The on-site fitness center is limited to two treadmills, an elliptical trainer, a stationary bike, a weight machine, and balance balls, but Indigo guests can use a more extensive off-site fitness facility for a small fee. The business center, with computers and printers, is open 24 hours a day. Hotel-wide Wi-Fi and garage parking are both free.

Richly decorated with dark wood and antique furniture, the 133-room Ayres Hotel Anaheim is a grown-up alternative to some of its more generic hotel neighbors (although some would call it dated). There is an affordable shuttle to nearby attractions, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a conference center with audio/visual equipment, and a well-maintained business center. However, there's no full restaurant (but breakfast is free) and the fitness center is small. 

The lower-middle-range Best Western Plus Pavilions packs a triple punch of amenities, location, and affordable rates. It’s within walking distance of Disney, the Anaheim Convention Center, and numerous restaurants, making it popular with families and convention-goers alike. Adults (but not children) receive daily vouchers for a free breakfast at the adjacent Denny’s, and free continental breakfast bags are available, too. Its heated outdoor pool with whirlpool is large for a hotel of this size. It also has a gym and business center, laundry room, free Wi-Fi, and valet dry cleaning and laundry. Its 98 rooms come with microwaves, mini-fridges, flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers but no in-room safes. 

The colorful and contemporary Desert Palms Hotel & Suites is located a short walk from the Anaheim Convention Center. Conveniences include a business center, and free Wi-Fi, parking, and extensive hot breakfast. Every one of the 196 rooms includes a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a work station. It's a great value for a mid-range hotel, but its proximity to nearby theme parks means that guests should expect some noise from kids.

The 105-room Ramada Plaza Anaheim is a mid-range property that’s less than a 15-minute walk to Disneyland attractions and the Anaheim Convention Center. The on-site Gandhi Palace Restaurant serves an American-style breakfast but traditional Indian cuisine at lunch and dinner, and there's also an on-site bar. The 24-hour business center has two computers and a printer, while the small fitness center has a sauna and a handful of cardio machines. Room and concierge services are on-site, and Wi-Fi and garage parking are free.
