The hotel is located directly on the beach, a 40-minute stroll along the Paseo Maritimo (boardwalk) to the city center of Torremolinos, a popular resort town on the Andalusian coast. For guests not wishing to walk, there's a city bus station across the street and the train station is about a five-minute walk from the property. The Malaga airport is a 10-minute drive; it is also accessible via public transportation with a couple of transfers, but this option can take up to an hour.

There is little attempt at decor or matching aesthetics in the rooms here, but they are reportedly clean and comfortable, if basic and a bit worn around the edges. Overall, the style is simple country. Floral bedspreads that harken to the '80s combine with dark, overstuffed leather couches for an eclectic ambiance. Family apartments have two-burner hotplates and mini-fridge, with some basic cooking supplies. All have balconies and flat-screen TVs

The children’s play areas make this hotel popular with families and include an indoor room with small tables and chairs and a variety of toys, as well as a playground with a jungle gym and a swing set. There's also tennis, mini-golf, and exercise classes. The large pool, with its adjacent children’s pool and small whirlpool, is adjacent to a sizable outdoor covered snack bar. A restaurant offers buffet-style dining; many have noted the food options can be a bit repetitive.
