With three million square feet of space and some 111,000 seats, AT&T Stadium is the second largest dome in the world. It’s the home of the NFL football team the Dallas Cowboys, and it hosts countless college football games, concerts, rodeos, and camps year-round. AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, Texas, smack dab between Fort Worth and Dallas. Some travelers may want to stay at a hotel in Dallas or Fort Worth and take the short 20-minute drive to the stadium. Comfort Suites Arlington is a mid-range hotel that’s just a five-minute drive from AT&T Stadium. However, travelers don’t have to worry about booking a taxi, calling a Lyft, or parking their cars at the stadium, because Comfort Suites Arlington provides round-trip shuttles for a fee per guest. The shuttle fee is a round-trip ticket and is cheaper for children. It’s one of the most affordable shuttle fees among the hotels in the area. The shuttle drops guests off outside of the parking lot area. Younger, in-shape guests might want to bypass traffic and manage the 30-minute walk to the stadium. Rooms here are spacious and contemporary with microwaves and mini-fridges. Other perks include a seasonal pool, fitness center, free breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on-site.
2. Blue Cypress Hotel
Located just two-and-a-half miles from AT&T Stadium, Blue Cypress Hotel labels itself as a boutique property, however, it’s better described as a contemporary three-pearl hotel with similar amenities to that of the nearby chain hotels. There’s no restaurant on-site here, but it does offer a free breakfast buffet, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and meeting rooms. The rooms have a warm modern design with coffeemakers, microwaves, and mini-fridges. Parking is free here, which is helpful for those who want to take the hotel’s shuttle (for a fee) to AT&T Stadium. The ticket fee for the shuttle is per person and includes a round-trip ride. Guests are dropped off in a parking lot of the stadium. Unfortunately, it’s about an hour’s walk to the stadium from the hotel, making the shuttle the most convenient option.
3. Wingate by Wyndham Arlington
Like many of the other hotels near AT&T Stadium, Wingate by Wyndham Arlington has contemporary rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges. Travelers will also find a free breakfast buffet, gym, and business center on-site. The hotel differs from others nearby in that it has an indoor hot tub and a pool, but the latter runs on the small side. Wingate by Wyndham Arlington offers a free shuttle to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, making it a great pick for travelers flying in from out of town. However, it does not offer a shuttle to AT&T Stadium for an event, citing “traffic issues.” It will provide a free shuttle to AT&T Stadium for stadium tours during the week.
4. Holiday Inn Arlington
Holiday Inn Arlington has a modern decor with a business-like vibe: Think neutral room colors and dark furniture, and spacious public areas with contemporary colorful furniture and floral carpets. Holiday Inn Arlington stands out for having a bar and grill that offers breakfast and lunch on weekdays and lunch on the weekends. The indoor pool is heated, and there’s a hot tub, too. The modern rooms have microwaves and mini-fridges. For those flying in town, the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, but with limited hours. There is a free shuttle that takes guests within three miles of the hotel, but unfortunately, it won’t go to AT&T Stadium, unless it’s for a stadium tour during the week. This Holiday Inn does, however, work with a third-party shuttle for AT&T Stadium events, and it does incur a fairly standard charge.
5. La Quinta Inn & Suites Arlington North 6 Flags Dr
This La Quinta has a prime spot across the street from Six Flags and is just a seven-minute drive to AT&T Stadium. Guests can expect a pretty standard La Quinta experience with an updated design. There’s a free breakfast buffet that includes waffles. An outdoor pool with a kid-friendly splash pad, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and modest gym round out the amenities here. The rooms are spacious with a contemporary decor that includes printed carpet, purple statement walls, and contemporary-styled wood furniture. Unlike the other hotels, the shuttle at La Quinta Inn & Suites Arlington North 6 Flags Dr is free to and from AT&T Stadium and DFW Airport. The shuttle driver drops guests about a 17-minute walk away from AT&T stadium. Unfortunately, their shuttle has received more complaints on service quality than most of the other hotels.
