Because of its proximity to downtown Cumberland and many big-name companies, as well its on-site meeting rooms and all-inclusive meeting packages, the hotel is a popular place for business travelers. It also attracts families and those on longer stays in the Atlanta area. The exterior of the building borrows a bit from the neighboring glass and concrete corporate buildings, though it's otherwise a typical chain hotel facade. The white tiled lobby is bright and spacious, but offers cozy seating nooks with low-lying brown and gray couches decorated with colorful throw pillows. Plenty of orange chairs surround a large flat-screen TV, and there's a small bar without much decoration to speak of. The breakfast room is somewhat bland, with wood tables and chairs, white tiled floors, and flat-screen TVs. On the outdoor patio, guests can use the barbecue grill or lounge on brown wicker chairs with bright orange cushions around the fire pit. 

The hotel sits near the entrance to the interstate near downtown Cumberland, an edge city of Atlanta situated about 10-and-a-half miles north of downtown Atlanta. Chain restaurants are within walking distance, though many have noted the area immediately surrounding the hotel is not walkable; the property maintains a free local shuttle, which will also drop guests off at any of several nearby MARTA bus stops. The Cumberland Mall, a premium shopping complex, is a mile and a half away. Downtown Atlanta is about a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic, or an hour and 10 minutes via public transportation.

The rooms here are decorated with discreet gray rugs, engineered wood floors, and low-lying fabric couches; the overall effect is contemporary and minimalist. Standing metal lamps and ergonomic faux-leather chairs give the rooms a slight '60s vibe. All rooms have sofas, flat-screen TVs, microwaves, and mini-fridges. Studio Suites have full kitchens with dishwashers, full fridges, sinks, and electric stoves. Each One- and Two-Bedroom Suite has a separate living and sleeping area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Sleek bathrooms have beige tile floors and walk-in showers with dark brown tiling and glass doors. All rooms have hairdryers, irons, black-out shades, and coffeemakers. Some rooms can get noise from the nearby highway.

There is a small indoor pool, as well as a good-size fitness center with several treadmills, nautilus machines, and stationary bikes each, in addition to free weights.
