Bottom Line

This three-pearl, 113-room hotel is a five-minute walk from Legian Beach and close to many shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a bright, colorful property that attracts young travelers as well as families, given the low rates and relaxed atmosphere. Air-conditioned rooms include flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, free spotty Wi-Fi, and furnished balconies with pool views. Family Rooms are available, and some rooms add outdoor showers. There's a long outdoor pool lined with sun loungers and a poolside bar, plus a restaurant serving international cuisines and a generous breakfast buffet for a fee. The hotel has a full-service spa, but it lacks a fitness center. Travelers might also want to consider the Legian Beach Hotel, which is across the road from the beach and adds a fitness center.

Scene

Colorful mid-range hotel that's a reliable, simple home base near Legian Beach

This modern hotel offers guests a relaxed stay with eye-catching style. Exteriors and interiors are decorated in vibrant rainbow shades, with green plants and palm trees adding a tropical touch. The lobby is bright and contemporary, with glossy tiled floors and sleek blue couches in the seating areas. The entire hotel has been designed around the sparkling blue outdoor pool, which is lined with vibrant cherry trees and padded sun loungers. Most guests hang out by the pool during the day, sipping cocktails from the poolside bar, or grabbing a bite to eat at the hotel's spacious restaurant. Given its friendly atmosphere and low rates, the hotel has a mixed clientele, with couples, groups, and families regularly staying here -- many returning year after year.

Location

A five-minute walk to the beach in Legian, close to many shops and restaurants

All Seasons Legian Bali is located just north of Kuta, around a five-minute walk from the white sands of Legian Beach, which is popular for surfing, parties, and brunch cafes. Numerous bars and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of markets, boutiques, and spas in the immediate area. Beachwalk Mall and Kuta Galleria Shopping Arcade are a five-minute drive from the hotel, while Kuta Art Market and Waterbom aqua park are a 10- to 15-minute drive. Guests looking to sample some Balinese history can visit the 200-year-old Vihara Darmayana Buddhist Temple, which is 10 minutes from the hotel by car as well. Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 20-minute drive away, depending on traffic.

Rooms

Bright, modern rooms with pool-facing balconies; larger Family Rooms available

Like the rest of hotel, all 113 guest rooms are bright and colorful. They're similarly designed across every category, with vibrant orange, green, or red feature walls, dark wood furniture, and cozy seating areas. Twin or queen beds are dressed in fresh white bedding, and furnished balconies or terraces offer pleasant pool views. Modern amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, phones, safes, tea/coffee facilities, iPod docks, and mini-fridges, while free slippers and bottled water are a thoughtful touch. Bathrooms are modern and well-finished, and all include shower/tub combos with colorful tiles, vessel sinks, and free toiletries. Some rooms add outdoor rainfall showers. Family Rooms are also available, sleeping up to four people. Despite its central location, the hotel stays quiet, both inside and out.

Features

Big outdoor pool, international restaurant, poolside bar, full-service spa, and free Wi-Fi

The All Seasons hotel is centered around a long outdoor swimming pool, which is lined with red padded sun loungers and umbrellas. There's a separate children's pool with inflatables (but no kids' club). A poolside bar serves fresh cocktails and chilled soft drinks. The hotel has one restaurant, providing Asian and Western dishes in a relaxed, modern setting. The generous and varied breakfast buffet is served here daily, but this costs extra. The hotel has a tranquil full-service spa offering massages and Ayurvedic treatments, but there is no fitness center. A modern meeting room is on-site, as well as a small clothing boutique. Other services include a 24-hour front desk, room service, tour desk, laundry, and free Wi-Fi. Parking is available, but there are limited spaces.
