Scene
A small tranquil hotel featuring a breezy restaurant and contemporary lobby
Although the hotel is just a short walk from downtown Petitenget and plenty of great nightspots and restaurants, it feels far removed from the buzz of downtown and stays consistently peaceful and quiet throughout. The hotel is located along a tiny lane which is lined with resorts, small villa properties, and rice fields. There are few common areas and facilities on offer outside of the villa compounds themselves, except for a restaurant and lobby area. Villa compounds are surrounded by tall walls and feel seclude and private. The high level of privacy is one of the reasons the hotel is so popular with couples looking for a quiet and romantic getaway.
The hotel entrance is lined with tropical greenery and leads into a large lobby space with clean modern interiors. It features marble floors, comfy couches, a wood slab table and reception desk, displayed Balinese artworks, and potted tropical flowers and plants. The semi open-air restaurant is located above the lobby and features a similar contemporary decor, with cream colored marble floors, light colored walls, and natural slate tiled accent walls. The restaurant is busiest during breakfast hours and is often empty the rest of the day, as many guests choose to dine out for lunch and dinner as there are so many great restaurants nearby.

The area features excellent fine dining restaurants, happening beach clubs, and a sophisticated nightlife scene. Villa bathrooms are roomy and semi open-air, plus they feature tropical greenery, slate tiling, deep soaking tubs made of white colored terrazzo, rainfall showers, and vanities with porcelain sinks and mirrors -- though vanities are a little cramped.
