What stands out most at the Maharani Beach Hotel are the excellent beach and ocean views throughout the hotel. Big windows and open-air halls contribute to the breezy, beachy feeling and flow. The contemporary lobby has seating areas outfitted with striped chairs and wood tables, and light tile floors contribute to the relaxed feel. Tari Spa, right off the lobby, has the same decor scheme. Brown wicker seating, wood floors, and a cement bar adorn the modern Sandbar Restaurant, and there is an outdoor seating area with thatched bamboo. The pool is flanked by tropical greenery and a wooden deck, and has woven brown loungers and a soothing water feature.

The Maharani Beach Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Kuta Beach, with many restaurants and shops within fast walking distance. The Discovery Shopping Mall, Waterbom Park, and Paradiso Bowling and Billiards Center are also walkable. Legian Beach is about a 13-minute drive from the hotel while Ngurah Rai International Airport and Seminyak Beach are each around 17 minutes away by car.

The contemporary rooms at the Maharani Beach Hotel are simple and modern, and charmingly pleasant. They have pale accent walls with wood headboards and white tile floors, and all are supplied with fresh flowers. Brown wicker chairs provide extra seating and all beds have colorful runners. Flat-screen TVs hang on the walls while mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and safes are hidden in the closet area. Free bottled water and air-conditioning are also included. Some rooms have private balconies with pool or ocean views, while others pick up loud traffic noise from the adjacent thoroughfare. Bathrooms are similarly modern, outfitted with light countertops and plenty of space for toiletries; each has a either a tan tile shower/tub combination or a glassed-in shower and no tub. Signature toiletries are provided.

The scenic outdoor pool is the hotel's major highlight and includes a swim-up bar, a fountain, and plenty of lounge seating. The pool does close early, however. The Tari Spa offers a range of massages, scrubs, mani/pedis, and facials in a modern, if small, space. Refreshing cocktails and traditional Mediterranean cuisine are served at the popular Sandbar Restaurant. A comprehensive free breakfast with a wide range of Asian and Western options is also served daily at the Sandbar. Concierge and room services are offered, but Wi-Fi and airport transportation cost extra. Additionally, the parking area has limited space.
