Nunia Boutique Villas are popular with both couples and families looking for a tranquil place to stay near downtown Seminyak. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown, but feels far removed from the pulsing energy of nearby locales, and has a laid-back vibe. The property doesn't have much on offer outside of the villas themselves. Facilities are limited to a small functional reception area, which is merely a place to check in. However, villas do feature private plunge pools, kitchens, lounge areas, plus plenty of space and are surrounded by tall walls for a high level of privacy. Essentially, this villa-only property features spacious and well equipped villas set in a tranquil and private environment well suited for deep relaxation.

Nunia Boutique Villas are located along a quiet street on the outskirts of downtown Seminyak, off of Pangkungsari Street. There are few shops and restaurants along the street, which is mainly lined with residential housing and other villa hotel properties. The area is peaceful, even though it's so close to downtown Seminyak. Petitenget Street and Laksmana or Eat Street, two of Seminyak's most happening and upscale neighborhoods, are under a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Eat Street is crammed with great restaurants, funky cafes, boutique shops, and bars. Petitenget is a little less crowded and has a sophisticated and trendy vibe. It's known for excellent fine dining restaurants, such as Sarong, Merah Putih, And Biku -- all within a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The nearest beach is Petitenget Beach, around a 10-minute walk from hotel. The black-sand beach isn't great for swimming due to the heavy riptides, but is usually more quiet than nearby Seminyak Beach and features some great beach clubs and oceanfront restaurants. Popular establishments along the beach include The W Resort, Potato Head beach club, and La Lucciola restaurant. Both Kuta Beach and the airport take around 45 minutes to reach from the hotel.

Nunia Boutique Villas has one- and two-bedroom villas. Each of the individual compounds is surrounded by tall walls and features plenty of space and tropical greenery. Interiors are contemporary and elegant, with sparsely decorated white walls, dark-tile floors, and hardwood furniture. Bedrooms and living rooms have large glass doors that open out onto private plunge pools and let light and airflow into the space. The plunge pools are surrounded by lush tropical gardens with frangipani trees, palms, and vines. Wooden pool decks are lined with lounge chairs, plus a covered poolside gazebo with a daybed. Living rooms feature comfy upholstered couches and flat-screen TVs with DVD players and sound systems (bedrooms also have TVs). Kitchens are outfitted with ovens, microwaves, stovetop burners, full-size refrigerators, and dining tables. Air-conditioning is provided in both the living room and bedroom areas. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, safes, large wardrobes with plenty of storage and hanging space, and bottled water.

One- and two-bedroom villas both have similar layouts and features, though two-bedroom villas are almost twice as big at over 4840 square feet (450 square meters), and feature more garden space and larger plunge pools. Additional features only found in the two-bedroom villas include a poolside gazebo and a covered alfresco dining area surrounded by koi ponds.

Bathrooms are huge and have a chic contemporary look, with natural dark stone tiles, a long vanity with twin sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, rainfall shower heads, and deep soaking tubs. Villas interiors show some aging and minimal wear and tear.

The Nunia Boutique Villas doesn't offer common facilities, except for a small functional reception area, outside of the villa compounds. Room service is available. A daily a la carte breakfast is included in most room rates and is served directly to the villas. Both continental and American breakfast options are offered and room service is also available for lunch and dinner. The menu is fairly limited, though reasonably priced. Although, with Eat Street and some of Bali's best dining less than a 10-minute walk away most guests choose to eat out most of the time.  Other services offered by the hotel include tour and vehicle rental arrangements, plus shuttle services to nearby areas. Both parking and Wi-Fi are also provided for free.
