This property sets itself apart from other nearby hotels with its immaculate, modern interiors and friendly approach. The airy lobby has a serene vibe with earth tones and a minimalist style. Guests, who tend to be couples or vacationing families, can relax on low-lying wooden couches with pale gray, green, and beige cushions, and rest their feet on rattan ottomans. A contemporary, cool style defines the Mozzarella Restaurant & Bar, combining marble, wood, and dark granite indoors, and pool-view seating outside. The Visala Spa is similarly decorated with gray stone, wood furniture, and tan tile, along with a charming fountain of stone pottery, and pops of blue and purple textiles. The grounds are somewhat limited in size, though the balconies surrounding the pool are dripping with bright green vines.

The Magani Hotel and Spa is conveniently located on a busy road in a lively area that draws a mix of families and beach- and party-seekers. Legian Beach, restaurants, and shops are all within a five-minute walk. The Bali Blast Monument is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, while Kuta Beach and Kuta Square are a 10-minute drive. Seminyak Beach and Square, and Discovery Shopping Mall are about 15 minutes' drive. Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Rooms are spacious and minimalist, with tan tile floors and neutral tones throughout, from the decorative headboards to long curtains to the throw pillows atop beds. Large balcony or terrace glass doors allow in lots of natural light, while gray couches with red pillows provide seating. Long wood desks have coffeemakers on top, while flat-screen TVs hang above on the wall. Minibars with a few drinks sit inside mid-tone wood furniture, and air-conditioning and free
bottled water are included. All rooms have balconies or patios with seating, some with superb pool views. Magani Suites have open-air hot tubs, and other suites have small private pools. The stylish bathrooms have wood vanities and beautiful, gray tile showers, some with rainfall showerheads; Magani Hotel and Spa toiletries are provided. Some rooms open out directly to the pool and pick up exterior noise.

A large outdoor blue-tile pool is surrounded by tan lounge chairs and has charming statue fountains at one end. A swim-up bar is on the other side -- with beers, cocktails, snacks, and sandwiches on offer -- and receives good reviews. However, the pool is in the middle of
the hotel and receives only a few hours of sunlight daily. Indonesian and international cuisine including salads, pastas, and steaks are served at Mozzarella Restaurant & Bar,while cocktails and beers are available at the lobby bar. Separate male and female saunas, and four treatment rooms for massages, facials, and scrubs are offered at Visala Spa. Free weights, cardio, and weight machines are inside the beautiful, modern fitness center. The enclosed business center has two Apple computers, a printer, and a large wood desk. Concierge and room services are available, but there is limited parking on-site and a fee for airport transportation. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
