The apartments in the Baan K Residence are spread over six floors in a relatively modern structure with a covered parking area on the ground floor. A flight of stairs leads through a semi-enclosed covered patio area and up to a small, contemporary lobby with polished white-marble floors and a matching reception desk. Elevators and mailboxes are off to one side. Although the property is suitable for tourists looking for apartment-style lodging in the heart of Bangkok, most guests here are long-term business travelers. 

The Baan K Residence is located on a quiet lane off the busy Sathon-Rama IV intersection in a neighborhood surrounded by low-rise office buildings. There's a 7-Eleven right by the hotel and the MRT (rapid transit system) is a five-minute walk away, while getting to the Skytrain takes around 10 minutes by foot. The Jim Thompson House, a famed museum featuring traditional Thai architecture, is a 15-minute drive from the hotel and the hustle and bustle of Khao San Road can be reached in less than half an hour. The temples of Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Arun take around 30 minutes to reach by car. Suvarnabhumi Airport is a half-hour drive east, barring traffic. 

The property offers 28 serviced apartments in Studio, One Bedroom Superior Suite, and One Bedroom Executive Suite configurations. Decor is simple and modern with light wood floors, plain furniture, and white kitchens with microwaves, kettles, and small sinks built into melamine counter tops. Crockery, cutlery, dishes, and dish soap are provided as well. All rooms have safes, modern entertainment systems, 40-inch flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Executive Suites are enormous and offer park views, dining tables, balconies, and walk-in closets. Neutral-tone bathrooms with shower stalls and toiletries are simple as well.

Amenities here are generally limited, though guests still get a few additional perks. The Baan K has a small gym with a few cardio machines and free weights. Wild Honey, the on-site coffee shop, has a jungle theme, with lots of leafy potted plants along with white tables with bright purple accent cushions. A tuk-tuk shuttle ferries passengers between the local metro and Skytrain stations throughout the day.
