The Majestic Suites is situated in an eight-story building on busy Sukhumvit Road. The property is next to Nana Plaza, Bangkok's major red light district, but the hotel is clean and safe, and has a pleasant vibe. It isn't a standout in terms of its design, but it's solid and efficiently run. There isn't much breathing room at reception and it isn't a place where guests linger, but the on-site restaurant can get busy at peak times. Travelers tend to keep to themselves, and tend to use the hotel as a convenient base for sightseeing. The property draws leisure travelers who want affordable accommodations and a central location. It also attracts some business travelers. 

Majestic Suites is on a busy section of Sukhumvit Road, one of the longest boulevards in Thailand. The hotel is next to the Nana Plaza red light complex, so the area is a bit seedier than other parts of Bangkok, but it isn't unsafe. Numerous cafes, restaurants, pubs, go-go bars, nightclubs, and shops are a short walk from the hotel. Sukhumvit MRT Station is a two-minute walk away, and Nana BTS Skytrain station is a 10-minute walk. 

The Kamthieng House Museum is a preserved 19th-century Thai teak house on stilts that's a 15-minute ride via public transit. Siam Square, the city's main shopping area, takes about 23 minutes via public transit, and it's roughly 16 minutes via public transit to Emporium Mall.

Don Mueang International Airport is a 25-minute drive, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is about 27 minutes by car. 

Guest rooms and studios at Majestic Suites are uninspired and a tad dated, but they're well-maintained and comfortable. Decor is neutral, a mix of brown and gray, with dark-wood furniture and trim. Beds have headboards, with a simple geometric design on paneling behind them that's a focal point. All units come equipped with AC, flat-screen TVs, minibars, two free bottles of water per day, electric kettles for instant coffee and tea, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms all have shower/tub combos, hairdryers, bathrobes, slippers, and bidet-style toilets. Some rooms lack windows, and those that are close to street-level may get some noise from loud bars nearby. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. 

On-site amenities at this hotel are limited, with a restaurant that serves a hot breakfast for a fee, and Thai and international fare for lunch and dinner. Room service available. The hotel also has ATM machines, a business center, in-house tailoring for custom clothes, and a 24-hour front desk. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The hotel provides free parking at its nearby sister property, Majestic Grande, which is a five-minute walk away. Guests of Majestic Suites have free access to its fitness center, indoor hot tub, sauna, outdoor pool, and sun terrace. The Grande also has a full-service spa (treatments for a fee) and a restaurant.
