The rooftop pool and sundeck is a peaceful place to unwind and catch some sun, offering pleasant views over the rooftops. The overall vibe is laid-back, with many couples attracted to the romantic atmosphere. 

The Tints of Blue Hotel is tucked into a quiet alleyway off of Sukhumvit Road, a wickedly busy thoroughfare that's lined with shops, bars, and restaurants. There are no amenities in the immediate area (a pro for some), but Soi Sukhumvit can be reached in around five minutes on foot -- or less by the hotel's free tuk-tuk service. Guests should note that the road is not well-lit at night, so the location may be too secluded for some travelers. The hotel is within walking distance of public transport, with the Asoke Skytrain and Sukhumvit Metro stations both around a 15-minute walk away. Terminal 21 Shopping Mall is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, while the MBK Center is a 20-minute taxi ride away (it's not that far on the map, but traffic in these parts is horrendous). For nightlife, guests might head to the famous go-go bars of Soi Cowboy, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there are tamer options around as well. Given the often clogged roads, budget up to an hour to reach either of Bangkok's airports.

Others have a more bohemian feel, with colorful details and shabby-chic furnishings. All studios are spacious, with large double beds and small non-furnished balconies, though some lack privacy as they are overlooked by residential apartments. Deluxe Studios add extra living space and nice city views. Standard in-room amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, safes, phones, hairdryers, and free bottled water. Modern kitchenettes are small and include stovetops, microwaves, mini-fridges, electric kettles, and utensils. However, it's tiny and has only minimal cardio equipment and resistance machines. Hotel services include 24-hour security, self-service laundry, free bike rentals, free short-term luggage storage, and free Wi-Fi. Free tuk-tuk service to the main street is available to guests during the day, but not after dark. Kids aged 5 and under stay for free with a parent.
