From the street, the 7Seasons Apartments Budapest has a corporate look. The building plaza has a atrium with views of the property’s enclosed courtyard and garden. Seven stories of windows and balconies are visible through the massive glass ceiling. But reception is an unspectacular space, much like a 24-hour information desk at an office building. There are no guest lounges, just a luggage room as a courtesy before check-in and after check-out. The hotel attracts visiting families and business travelers on longer assignments in Budapest. 

The 7Seasons Apartments is conveniently close to many of Budapest's major attractions in an area with plenty of dining and drinking options. Heroes’ Square, the Hungarian Parliament Building, and the Castle District are reachable on foot in about 15 minutes. One of the most important transit hubs of Budapest -- Deak Ferenc Square -- is a two-minute walk from the 7Seasons Apartments and provides easy access to trams and the metro. Budapest Airport is about 30 minutes away by car or 50 minutes by public transportation.

The 7Seasons offers 102 apartments that range in size from small Studios to spacious Three Bedroom Apartments. Decor is minimal but chic and welcoming, with neutral color palates dominated by shades of gray, white, and blond wood. Wall panels with bold, geometric prints or layered typography give a modern focal point. Living areas are bright and sunny, with flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and windows that reach almost the full height of the walls. Each tidy little kitchen comes fully equipped with modern appliances, crockery, and utensils. All units have washing machines in the bathrooms and basic cleaning supplies, although daily housekeeping is available. Families can take advantage of free baby care items including high chairs, playpens, and strollers. Some apartments have patios that look out on the interior courtyard and garden.

In addition to the apartments, 13 hotel-style rooms in various configurations were added in summer 2016.

The 7Seasons Apartments don't have as many amenities as a typical hotel, but still has more to offer than most serviced apartments. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, and the reception can assist with sightseeing tours and car rentals. There is also a secure on-site parking garage. A restaurant and bar, opened after our visit, serves Hungarian and International cuisine. Although the property lacks fitness facilities, guests are offered discounted admission to the nearby Holmes Place Fitness Center and Health Club of Budapest. Airport transfers and daily breakfast are available for a fee.
