The Pousada Boutique Bella Nina is a charming value accommodation option near the beaches of Brava and Forno. The pousada (guest house) is run by a friendly couple and provides a romantic and home-stay feel.

The small lobby/lounge is set with white sofas and pink and baby-blue armchairs. Rustic-style cabinets were locally made in the Mina Gerais province. The lounge (or living room) has some notable memorabilia: a collection of old thermos bottles, a statue of a female figure, and bright flower paintings on the walls. The lounge offers a small library and games. Adjacent is a terrace with distant ocean views. This space also serves as the breakfast room in the mornings and as a dining area at night. The owners serve fresh juices and tropical drinks, which can be enjoyed at the lounge area, terrace, or out in the garden. The vast majority of guests here are couples. 

The Pousada Boutique Bella Nina offers a peaceful, residential location near the popular beaches of Forno and Brava. Both can be reached within a 10-minute walk. The Brava beach offers private beach clubs (with music, divans, and sparkling wine) and also a more casual beach scene with kiosks selling ice-cold beer and caipirinhas.

The immediate neighborhood is residential, and offers no dining or shopping options. Búzios can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes by walking. It offers some decent restaurants, bars, cafes and several tourist shops and small boutiques selling locally designed bikinis and beach wear. Orla Bardot street provides nightclubs that open around midnight and the fun continues until the wee hours of the morning.

The Pousada Boutique Bella Nina offers seven rooms that feature similar romantic decor in the form of green and purple paint, flower-shaped lamps, gauzy curtains, and white lace bed coverlets. Wrought iron headboards hang above the beds. Vaulted, wooden ceilings give an extra sense of space, as do large windows. Some rooms have furnished balconies or distant ocean views. Air-conditioning, tube-style TVs, and mini-fridges come standard. Bathrooms include a large shower, single sink, and a hairdryer mounted to the wall. Some rooms pick up the free Wi-Fi signal from the lobby. 

The Pousada Boutique Bella Nina offers a charming terrace, where a Brazilian style breakfast -- included in the room rate -- is served. The pousada owners can also prepare a dinner, but the request must be made the night before (the husband is a professional chef).

A tropical pool area is located a few steps up on a hill. The medium-size pool is in a peaceful area and has some sunbeds. The front desk staff offers concierge service and sells tickets to city tours in Búzios and to popular boat tours that take guests island hopping. Dive and snorkeling trips, car rentals, and private airport transfers can also be arranged.

The pousada does not offer parking, but guests may leave their cars on the street, in front of the building. The area is considered safe. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Free towels are provided for the beach and pool.
