Capri Tiberio Palace is a chic, luxury hotel in a convenient location five minutes from Piazzetta's shops and restaurants. The 46 rooms have posh decor, free minibars, and free Wi-Fi, and some include balconies with beautiful Bay of Naples views. The hotel has a ritzy bar and restaurant that serves Kosher options, and the free breakfast can be enjoyed alfresco on a terrace overlooking the sea. There's a spa with a variety of facilities and treatments, but the pool is small and guests have complained the water is often too cold to enjoy. Those willing to spend more should check out J.K. Place Capri, a five-pearl seaside property with beautiful views and a large, outdoor pool.
Scene
Luxury hotel designed to feel like the home of a world traveler
Designed to make guests feel as if they're staying in the home of an avid traveler, the Capri Tiberio Palace has cultivated, worldly decor. Artwork like globes, books, paintings, and souvenir-inspired objects can be found throughout the common areas and rooms at the hotel. The lobby is spacious and set with Tiffany blue chairs lined up at the front desk and a seating area that feels resembles a modern living room, with blue and green chairs surrounding a low coffee table on a brown rug. Framed mirrors hang on the wall over the built-in sofa. The restaurant has a colorful, indoor dining room as well as an outdoor terrace with wicker furniture, umbrellas, and amazing views of the massive hills and vast sea. The indoor/outdoor pool has a Roman bath-like look with archways and columns while the surrounding terrace offers sea-facing lounge chairs for relaxing. Children are allowed here (though not in the pool during the evenings), but the vast majority of guests are couples on a romantic holiday.
Location
In central Capri within short walk to Piazzetta
Capri Tiberio Palace is in a convenient location within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. The island’s social epicenter, Capri’s famous Piazzetta, is only a five-minute walk from the hotel, and it’s less than a 20-minute walk to the beaches at the foot of the Faraglioni rocks. It’s around a 15-minute walk to the funicular that connects to the Port of Marina Grande where visitors can catch ferries to Sorrento and Naples.
Rooms
Fresh and homey-but-chic rooms, some with stunning sea views
Rooms at Capri Tiberio Palace have a fun, fresh feel and are individually decorated with vintage-inspired furnishings and worldly treasures ranging from maps and globes to natural coral and exotic statues to enlarged "Life" magazine covers of Sophia Loren. Often a neutral backdrop of white walls, hardwood floors, and crisp white bedding is set off by fuchsia curtains, a tangerine accent wall, or royal purple chairs. Decor doesn't shy away from patterns either, heavily mixing stripes, polka dots, and geometric prints. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and free minibars stocked with beer, soda, and water. Some rooms have rain showers, but others have hand-held shower/tub combinations that aren’t popular with all guests. The rooms with charming sea view balconies are set with colorful tiles, potted plants, and cushioned chairs. There's a suite with a small outdoor fitness area and a small, heated pool.
Features

A limited fitness room offers five cardio machines and a few free weights. There’s a modern spa with therapeutic showers and a sauna, and massages as well as face and body treatments, which are available for a fee.
