Le Sivory Punta Cana resort offers a premium collection of amenities, most geared toward travelers looking to relax. It also happens to be one of the most peaceful resorts in the Punta Cana region. There's a small beach with lounge chairs and lots of shade from palm trees, a lovely outdoor pool with bar service, and a tennis court. The real draw is the dining, though, with four restaurants ranging from Mediterranean buffet fare to fine-dining international food served a la carte. All-inclusive rates cover food and drinks, including room service, plus a range of activities such as yoga and nightly entertainment.

Ladera Resort St. Lucia is a quiet, adults-only property offering rustic, natural suites with plunge pools, some with waterfall features or swings. Even the entry-level Gros Piton and Rainbow Suite categories are spacious and come with lovely rainforest views. Although the resort is not on the beach, this beautiful property offers plenty of perks, including a tiny spa, a gym, and a lovely pool that looks out over the Pitons. There's a shuttle to Sugar Beach for those who want to hit the sand. Ladera also offers a library area with books and board games, wedding planning services, and even a small boutique selling sundries and swimwear. The all-suite Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is the fanciest of three Iberostar properties clustered together in Montego Bay, and Rose Hall guests get access to facilities at all three. Highlights include an elegant spa with a hydrotherapy relaxation room, a quiet beach, a huge infinity pool, and plush rooms with large marble bathrooms. The all-inclusive rates cover all meals, including at specialty restaurants, top shelf liquor, non-motorized watersports, and a free round of golf at the nearby Cinnamon Hill Golf Course.

This intimate, boutique all-inclusive resort offers quiet, romantic rooms alongside a dramatic coastal setting. You see, Cocobay Resort sits atop a rocky bluff overlooking Valley Church Bay. Views are fantastic throughout the property, particularly from rooms in the Premium Waterfront Suite category, which look right out over the sea. For a small resort, Cocobay packs in a lot of amenities, with three beaches, four infinity pools, and a spa, plus two restaurants and all-inclusive rates that cover wine and cocktails.

Popular with wedding groups and couples, Sanctuary Cap Cana adults-only all-inclusive resort features an excellent spa, multiple pools, and a range of room types. However, the wide, white-sand beach may be its best selling point. The resort went through extensive renovations in 2018, completely refurbishing the huge spa and fitness center and adding an additional 140 rooms. New rooms fall into the Premium, Luxury, and Premium Luxury Junior Suite categories, which feature predominantly white decor with pops of turquoise. Even so, we still think some of the best rooms are from the older collection, such as the Castle Island Suite (with three indoor plunge pools) and the Honeymoon Suite with its own private outdoor plunge pool. Dining here gets solid marks as well, with all-inclusive packages that cover food in a variety of reservation-free restaurants serving everything from Chinese fare to steak.

Set right on a narrow strip of beach, Cobblers Cove is an intimate, quiet resort offering beautiful, bright suites, a chic pool area, and great dining. It's important to note that Cobblers Cove is family-friendly through part of the year, but operates an adults-only period from January through March. If you want a kid-free escape, head to Cobblers Cove then. The big draw for many guests of this property is that it houses Camelot, a celebrated fine-dining restaurant offering a menu of seafood, meat dishes, and local specialties; note that there is a dress code. All-inclusive packages are available.

Situated on Eagle Beach in the Low-Rise Hotel district, this 14-acre property offers a quiet, romantic getaway for adults keener on lounging than partying. Rooms are sleek and contemporary, with dark-wood furnishings and pops of color, but the real draw here is the beautiful beach, which is kept in impeccable condition thanks to daily cleanings. Bucuti & Tara also offers a spa, non-motorized water sport rentals, and great dining options, from five-course dinners at Carte Blanche to beachfront dining at Elements. However, note that this property is not an all-inclusive, and only breakfast is included in room rates.

You'll find plenty of activities, including slots and games at the Breathless Punta Cana Casino as well. The all-inclusive rates here cover most of the property features, including dining at buffet and a la carte restaurants and 24-hour room service. Guests staying in Xhale Club rooms get extra perks such as access to VIP restaurants and a dedicated section at the beach. Those who opt for the Unlimited Luxury option receive extras like reservation-free dining at a la carte restaurants.

This high-end all-inclusive offers luxurious rooms with four-poster beds, some with swim-out pool access or whirlpool hot tubs. The all-inclusive rates here are generous, and cover premium alcohol as well as restaurants offering everything from Thai cuisine to French fine dining.

This quiet, 53-acre boutique property features Caribbean-inspired rooms that look over a lovely stretch of white-sand beach. There are four restaurants, all of which are covered by the all-inclusive rates, along with a variety of activities including cocktail parties and barbecue nights with steel drum performances, and non-motorized water sports are included in the all-inclusive rates.

Set on a private stretch of beach that’s devoid of kids, the adults-only wing of this four-resort Palladium complex offers a wide range of room types equipped with canopy beds, jetted tubs, and minibars (included in the all-inclusive rate). TRS Turquesa features include five bars with premium liquor, a buffet restaurant, and two additional a la carte restaurants (including a lovely French spot), and guests get access to all of the facilities and restaurants found at the sister resorts on the same complex.
