Unfortunately, while all bathrooms are private, they're small and a bit musty,. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. This small posada was previously the private home of the current owners. It still has a cozy, homey feel, complete with resident pets. The owner is a painter and sculptor, and his artwork is on display throughout, along with items collected on his travels. Like the rest of the inn, the open-air lobby is a colorful, eclectic space with a red rug atop a blue tile floor, and hammocks and flags hanging from the ceiling. A little terrace with some tables and potted plants sits adjacent. Mosaic tile work on the ground adds a colorful touch. This place could use some fresh paint and a bit of sprucing up, but it's got a quirky charm all its own. It draws budget-conscious tourists who aren't too picky and are looking for a taste of true island life.

A mini-mart is located about a block and a half away. Guests can walk to San Andres Town in less than 10 minutes, and the beach can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes on foot, but there is lots of traffic going by in both directions. San Luis is 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Aeropuerto Internacional Gustavo Rojas Pinilla is a five-minute drive from the hotel.
