The hotel lobby is often busy, with large groups disembarking from tour buses. The space is super modern, but gives off a bit of a cold, impersonal vibe, with few couches and lots of white and grey marble. The restaurants are similarly styled, though their earth-tone furnishings and wood floors offer a warmer feel. The Lounge Bar is particularly colorful, with chairs in bright hues of red and purple.

The hotel is located on the Arno River immediately outside Florence’s center on a congested main street. It’s about a five-minute drive to the city center. The city’s major attractions, such as the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery, are between 20 to 25 minutes away by foot. Public buses also stop outside the hotel. The Firenze Campo di Marte Train Station is a 25-minute walk away.

The 331 rooms are fairly spacious and modern, though the rooms on the higher floors are much more stylish and come with nice views of Florence. First-floor rooms are blandly decorated and a little dark. The Superior Rooms and Junior Suites seem to let in more light and many have luxe touches (picture velvet-upholstered furniture and dramatic headboards). The traffic noise seems to be blocked by well-insulated windows, but some guests complain of poor soundproofing between rooms. Large, modern bathrooms have either shower/tub combos or stall showers. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes, and hairdryers.

The hotel caters to large tour groups and as such, offers several restaurants and flexible event space. The three restaurants all serve Tuscan fare and have a contemporary, yet fairly generic, look. A spacious lobby bar features cocktails and appetizers. The flexible meeting space can be divided into over 10 rooms and offers audiovisual equipment. There is not much else in the way of features, however. A small area in the lobby has four computers available for guest use. There is also a parking garage, but it involves a fee.
