Marina Suites is situated on the southern side of Gran Canaria, one of Spain's Canary Islands, overlooking the Puerto Rico Beach and Harbor. It's a five-minute walk to the Puerto Rico Beach, and a 10-minute walk into the city center, where there are shops, restaurants, and bars. Other nearby beach options include Amadores Beach, a nine-minute drive away, and Anfi del Mar, which is an 11-minute drive from the hotel. Anfi Tauro Golf Course is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Playa del Ingles is about a 25-minute drive from the hotel, with more beaches and a lively nightlife scene. Due to its close location to the harbor, the hotel does not have its own parking area. There's plenty of surrounding parking areas (for an additional fee). For public transport, the Barranco Agua La Perra Bus Stop is a nine-minute walk from the hotel. The Gran Canaria airport is a 40-minute drive and the hotel offers airport transfers with prior arrangement, and for an additional fee.

With a nautical theme throughout, the suites follow a red, white, and blue color scheme. All suites include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, separate lounge and bedroom, furnished private balcony, free Wi-Fi, and full kitchen including two hot burners, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, plates, and cutlery. The main differences in the various suites is their size, and the choice of either a beach or harbor view. Bathrooms are spacious and modern, with a shower/tub combo.
