This budget chain hotel occupies a low-rise peach building skirted by well-landscaped grounds with green lawns, flowers, palm trees, and a lovely fountain. Motel-style, open-air hallways with white railings run along the two floors; they overlook either the grassy lawns or pool area. The small, basic lobby is a functional space crammed with patterned armchairs, a computer station, a vending machine and a cooler for ice cream and frozen pizza, and a rack of brochures and tourist information. On the green and yellow walls are various plaques and certificates, a flat-screen TV, and a few generic prints showing blown-up images of waffles, apples, and orange juice. The space is shared with a wood-furnished breakfast area, though it is tiny and provides only two tables (more seating is available outside). 

The Quality Inn & Suites Hollywood Boulevard is located on the busy Hollywood Boulevard in a residential neighborhood within walking distance of Hillcrest Golf and Country Club and a few restaurants. Interstate 95 is a five-minute drive away while Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport are 12 minutes away. Aventura Mall, Sun Life Stadium, Port Everglades, and the beach are a 15-minute drive from the hotel while the Galleria Mall, Las Olas Riverfront, Port of Miami, and American Airlines Arena are around 25 minutes driving.

A 2016 makeover to Quality Inn's 40 rooms made big improvements: drab carpeting was stripped and replaced with wood-finish flooring and bright green accent walls were toned down with fresh coats of chartreuse paint. Beds were relieved of their dated headboards and homely olive-hued bedspreads and given tall wood headboards and white linens with green detailing. 

All rooms also have flat-screen TVs, microwaves, coffeemakers, mini-fridges, work desks, and free Wi-Fi, plus free daily newspapers. Some rooms have leather sofas and whirlpools. Bathrooms also have chartreuse accent walls paired with granite vanities and walk-in showers (though some have shower/tub combos). Hairdryers and Quality Inn & Suites toiletries are provided. 

The outdoor pool is surrounded by a brick sun deck with padded lounge chairs and shaded tables. The hotel offers a free breakfast that includes waffles, pastries, eggs, bagels, and sausage and is served in the tiny breakfast area in the lobby. There's also a small business area with a computer as well as copying and faxing services in the lobby, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. A shuttle servicing the Fort Lauderdale cruise port, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport, Miami cruise port, and Miami Airport is available with a fee, but must be scheduled ahead of time. This hotel is pet-friendly, but only pets under 50 pounds are allowed and there is a daily fee.
