Hostal Valencia

Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza

This tiny value property is located in a quiet area in northern Sant Antoni, within walking distance of the beach and the city center. Its 21 air-conditioned rooms have basic decor, are kept clean, and offer great amenities for a hostel, including flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, free Wi-Fi, basic toiletries, and safes. On-site amenities are limited, but there is a quiet pool with loungers and parasols, and a casual, cute bar serving breakfast and snacks. Guests here are mostly couples 30 and up, and the atmosphere is friendly and quiet.

Camping San Antonio

Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza

Located within easy walking distance of a sandy beach and Sant Antoniʼs city center and nightlife strip, this family-friendly, budget property is the only camping facility in the area. It offers shaded areas for 32 tents, 20 small bungalows with shared washrooms, and 14 larger cabins for up to three guests complete with full bathrooms. Cooking is not allowed, and there are no safes on-site, but there are vending machines and a cafe/bar serving cheap homemade food. There's also a large supermarket a block away. Amenities include a small pool with padded lounge chairs, free Wi-Fi, and a coin-operated laundromat. Strict noise rules make Camping San Antonio a quiet and relaxing property.

Sa Vinya D’En Palerm

Sant Miquel De Balansat, Sant Joan de Labritja, Ibiza

Set on a farm about a 10-minute drive outside of Port de Sant Miguel in Ibiza, Agroturismo Sa Vinya d’en Palerm is a natural pick for those looking for quiet. Its five rooms are rustic and charming, and all have unique details and amenities such as hydromassage showers or tubs, furnished patios, and four-poster beds. There are a small restaurant offering a seasonal menu made with produce grown on-site, a lovely pool with padded loungers, and a room for yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes. Freebies such as breakfast, loaner bikes, Wi-Fi, and parking add value. Those who want to be on the water in Port de Sant Miguel can expect to pay significantly more for this caliber of property.

Invisa Hotel Ereso

Es Canar, Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza

Invisa Hotel Ereso is a 240-room, two-and-a-half-pearl all-inclusive located a short walk from a sandy beach in quiet Es Canar. With a gated kids' pool, a kids’ club, daily kid-friendly entertainment, and a playground, the hotel is a natural pick for families. But it has a good buffet restaurant, two pools, competitive rates, and an overall relaxed atmosphere that draws plenty of couples too. Room decor and amenities are basic, but the hotel offers good value for money, with competitive rates year-round, a convenient location near the beach and the city center, and nice on-site features. Grounds and rooms are kept spotless, and service is friendly and efficient.

Apartamentos Sal Rossa Ibiza

Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza

Located on a sandy beach in party-oriented Playa d’en Bosa, the budget (by Ibiza standards) Apartamentos Sal Rossa draws lots of vacationing young couples and groups. Within walking distance of the Ushuaia, Bora Bora, and Space nightclubs, the area can get rowdy during peak season, although it quiets down at other times of the year. Its 77 apartment-style rooms are clean, basic but pleasant, with separate bedrooms, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes that include stovetops, mini-fridges, and microwaves. Although most units have been upgraded, guests have complained about dated decor and thin walls in some of the units. There are such kid-friendly amenities as a children's pool and playground on the grounds, but Sal Rossa might not be the most family-focused place to stay in high season.

Apartamentos Poniente Playa

Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza

Next to a couple of beaches and a short walk to famous nightlife spots such as Cafe del Mar and Mambos, the budget-friendly Poniente Playa is strategically situated for those looking to experience Ibiza’s world-renowned party scene and beaches on the cheap. The hotel’s 56 one- and two-bedroom apartments are all clean and spacious, with fully equipped kitchens, sofa beds, and furnished balconies. There aren’t many on-site amenities, but the hotel does have a decent bar serving cheap, filling food, and a medium-sized pool across the street. It’s a young party hotel and it can get loud, but with ultra-low rates and freebies such as Wi-Fi and parking, it offers great value for money.

Florencio Hostal

Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza

Located a short walk from Sant Antoni’s famous nightlife, the 100-room Florencio Hostal is a value pick for young couples and groups of friends. Premium Rooms have been renovated and offer contemporary decor, flat-screen TVs, and mini-fridges. Non-renovated rooms, however, are basic and dated. The pool, a relaxing spot with music, padded loungers, and a bar, is the highlight here. In addition, there is a cafe serving average food at decent prices, and Wi-Fi is free. The property is popular with young partiers and can therefore get loud at night.

Hotel Tres Torres

Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza

The 114-room Hotel Tres Torres is an upper-mid-range property located right across the street from the marina, in a quiet area of Santa Eulalia a five-minute walk from the beach. Rooms are clean and contemporary, with all-white decor, pretty terra-cotta floors, and gray striped bed runners and matching pillows, as well as minibars, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. However, most bathrooms are in urgent need of an update, and balconies are not swept regularly. There is a medium-sized outdoor pool, but many guests complain that the no reservations policy is not enforced and it can be hard to find a lounger if you don't snag a seat before breakfast. Additionally, the hotel offers a decent buffet restaurant, a snack bar, and a quiet bar.

Hostal Mar y Huerta

Es Canar, Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza

The 80-room Hostal Mar y Huerta is a budget property located half a block from the beach and down the street from famous Jacaranda Lounge. The hostel has a pleasant pool with dozens of loungers, a few straw umbrellas, and a snack bar, as well as a casual restaurant serving a cheap buffet for breakfast and dinner. Rooms are clean but basic, with simple wooden furniture, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, and ceiling fans. It is a good pick for families and middle-aged couples looking to spend a relaxing beach vacation on the cheap, but guests should be aware of the many extra fees (for Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, safes, and mini-fridges).

Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta

Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza

The 113-room Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta is a small, all-inclusive, upper-mid-range property located in quiet Siesta, a residential area a short walk from Santa Eulalia. Rooms are bright and welcoming, with somewhat generic decor in a beachy palette of blues and white, furnished balconies, and sofa beds for an extra guest. Room amenities are on par with other local upper-mid-range hotels -- but small tube TVs are a little underwhelming for the price and there is a pesky fee for Wi-Fi. Hotel highlights include a small pool (but be aware that most loungers have seen better days), a restaurant serving a varied buffet, an appealing glass-enclosed fitness center, and a number of kid-friendly amenities. Some rooms are a little dated, but overall it’s a decent pick for a relaxing stay within walking distance of the beach.
