Roc Illetas is a relatively small, three-pearl hotel complex set into the cliff overlooking the sea, just a few minutes' walk from the pretty cove of the same name. While the local beaches can get busy, the area is peaceful and offers easy road access to Palma. Decor in the hotel's 124 guest rooms and apartments can be rather underwhelming and dated, but the superb sea views are quite the opposite. Features include a two-tier pool that overlooks the water, a heated indoor pool and whirlpool tub, and sun terraces with direct access to the sea. However, the terrace gets shade in the afternoon, some areas don't have enough loungers, and the hotel doesn't have a fitness center. There's no kids' club or animation program, either, so families might prefer the more kid-friendly Hotel BonSol Resort next door, which also has an outstanding spa.
