This budget-friendly guesthouse is housed in a four-story haveli (city mansion) that was refurbished in 2010. Guests enter under column supported archways into a small lobby with marble floors and an intricate inlay design at its center. Boldly painted ceilings and dark-wood doors with big brass features add to the Rajasthani vibe of the place. On one end of the lobby is a seating are with intricately carved wooden chairs and benches and a bright wall mural featuring a traditional Rajasthani palace scene. An elevator connects the lobby with the three floors of rooms and a top-floor restaurant with indoor and rooftop seating. Most guests here are tourists on a budget, and the property gets its fair share of Indian and international guests alike. 

Nahargarh Haveli is located in a busy area just south of the main M.I. Road thoroughfare where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. It's about a 12-minute walk or six-minute drive from the Jaipur Railway Station and an eight-minute drive to the historic Pink City. Getting to the main Gangori Bazaar and its surrounding historic attractions, including the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal, and the Jantar Mantar takes about 12 minutes by car. Also about a 10-minute drive away are both the Albert Hall Museum and the Birla Mandir, both of which are south of the Pink City. Factor in about a half-hour by car for Amber, home to the Amber Fort and the Anokhi Museum. The airport is a 25-minute drive away from the hotel, traffic permitting.

Nahargarh Haveli offers three room types: Deluxe, Super Deluxe, and Royal Suites. All feature air-conditioning, small flat-screen TVs with cable, minibars, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Decor is progressively more ornate as prices increase. All have marble flooring, traditionally painted ceilings with floral and vine designs, and embroidered throw cushions. Suites feature a peacock decor scheme with peacock motifs on the chairs and beds. Bathrooms are simple, with marble counters and floors. Deluxe Rooms have cramped corner wet room-style showers, Super Deluxe units have larger rainfall showers, and there are and separate soaking tubs in the Suites. Note that some rooms lack windows and past guests have complained of both street noise and noise from other rooms. 

Nahargarh Haveli doesn't offer a ton of variety in terms of amenities, though there's a good-sized rooftop restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a breakfast buffet, and room service is available 24/7. The hotel can arrange things like transfers from the bus and train station and same-day laundry service. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. There's also a small massage room for treatments.
