Housed in a 20th-century palace (the former summer residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur), Rambagh Palace is the epitome of high-end elegance and sophistication. The architecture and interiors feature Rajasthani and Mughal influences, including hand-carved marble latticework, traditional cupolas, and sandstone balustrades. Everything in this hotel screams royalty, and guests are actually welcomed with a royal parade while a photographer takes their photograph under the royal umbrella.

The interiors feature an expansive use of white marble, pastel coloring, luxurious furniture, and royalty-themed artwork and decor. There is a large courtyard, Chandni Chowk, which is surrounded by hallways and rooms with a few benches placed between the beautifully sculptured gardens and water features. The Mughal Gardens feature expansive lawns surrounding the hotel with perfectly groomed gardens and pathways lined with sculptures and water features. Over 150 peacocks roam the lawns. The Rambagh Palace is mostly frequented by high-end travelers; either on corporate or leisure travel.

Rambagh Palace is located on Bhawani Singh Road in the upscale area of Jaipur, just outside of the old city. The Sawai Man Singh Cricket Stadium is across the road. There are a number of important government buildings located nearby, including the Rajasthan High Court (15-minute walk) and the Secretariat (20-minute walk). Popular nearby attractions include: Rajasthan Polo Club and Rambagh Golf Club (13-minute walk), Albert Hall Museum (12-minute drive), Jantar Manter (18-minute drive), and City Palace and Hawa Mahal (20-minute drive). There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the Jaipur Railway Station and metro stop are a 25-minute drive away. It's about a 20-minute drive to Jaipur International Airport.

There are a total of 45 rooms and 33 suites at Rambagh Palace, each with their own individually opulent style and design. There are 13 categories, each including their own signature highlight. The suites all have additional character in their unique architectural design and evocative decor. Decor includes original paintings, period furniture, patterned carpets, and luxurious bed linens. All rooms and suites include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities, desks, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. The small added details in each room makes for an even more luxurious experience; including a pillow menu, softer or firmer beds on request, a bath menu, yoga kit, free bottled water and newspapers, turndown service, and specific suit, skirt, and padded hangers. The Italian marble bathrooms feature walk-in showers, bathtubs, magnifying mirrors, hairdryers, and Forest Essentials toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. The Presidential Suite includes a beautifully furnished terrace with a water fountain. 

The most attractive feature of the Rambagh Palace is the fact that it is housed in a palace. Of course, there are several other spectacular features of this hotel starting with a total of five dining facilities. Suvarna Mahal serves up a royal Indian feast; Rajput Room and Verandah Cafe are both all-day-dining restaurants serving multi-cuisine options; Steam serves wood-fired pizzas; and Polo Bar features a list of sophisticated drinks. The Rajput Room is the best spot for breakfast, though the meal isn't included in room rates. Private dining and 24-hour room service is also available.

There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as an outdoor hot tub. Jiva Grande Spa creates ultimate relaxation with their ancient Indian wellness therapies along with yoga and meditation in the yoga pavilion. The 24-hour fitness center features modern TechnoGym cardio machines and free weights. There are also croquet facilities, a putting green, and table tennis.
