Like many nearby properties, Montana Club is an apartment-style hotel with a peaceful and quiet location. The complex is centered around a sun solarium with two swimming pools (one with a kids' shallow pool), several surrounding sun loungers, and a few palm trees. The lobby is pleasantly decorated with wooden furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, potted plants, and displayed tourist brochures. While there's nothing spectacular about the pool restaurant and bar, it offers enough seating both inside and outside, has a TV tuned to news or sports, and is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The crowd here consists mainly of couples and families looking for a simple place to sleep and swim. 

The central location in Puerto Del Carmen is one of Montana Club's biggest draws. The hotel sits on a quiet and peaceful street that's away from the crowds but not so far away that it's isolated. There are a handful of shops and restaurants on the same street as the hotel, and Puerto del Carmen's main strip (with more shops, restaurants, and bars) is only a five-minute walk away. Matagorda Beach can be reached within 15 minutes on foot, while the larger Los Pocillos Beach is slightly further, around four minutes away by car. It's a 20-minute drive to Timanfaya National Park. There's a bus stop that's a five-minute walk from the hotel. Lanzarote Airport is eight minutes away by car.

The 67 rooms at Montana Club are looking a little bit tired and in need of a refresh. Decor includes bright orange feature walls, wooden furniture with floral covers on the chairs, colorful striped curtains, and oil paintings on the walls. Rooms are apartment-style with separate bedrooms, a living area, furnished balconies (some shared), and kitchenettes equipped with burners, a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and utensils. The standard apartments cater for up to four guests while the one available Suite has capacity for up to six guests in two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom. Additional amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, tea- and- coffee-making facilities, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include a shower/tub combo and a hairdryer. Toiletries are limited to a single bar of hand soap. 

The two outdoor pools are certainly the standout among the features. One of the swimming pools has a separate shallow kids' pool, while the other is heated during the winter months. Both pools are surrounded by a solarium with sun loungers; parasols are available for an additional fee. The Pool Restaurant and Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day. There's an option for bed-and-breakfast or half-board (including dinner) rates. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. For guests with cars, there are a few parking spots right in front of the hotel.
