Its boxy white facade with square windows is typical of Holiday Inn Express properties. Inside, the lobby, featuring several mirrored surfaces, is well lit and has cream tile floors and scattered carpets. Poet's Park, home of the EDP Jazz Festival, is a six-minute drive or 29 minutes on public transportation. Parco de Arcos station for public transit is an eight-minute drive, but it has lengthly options for reaching downtown. Oeiras Park Center and the town of Estoril are 10 minutes away by car. The Marques de Pombal Palace and Oeiras Beach are both about a 10-minute drive. The town of Sintra, with its lovely palaces and Moorish castle, is an 18-minute drive. The Lisbon Airport is about a 20-minute drive from the hotel. 

Rooms at this property are clean and bright, with practical touches like pullout sofas. Decor is a touch dated, and there are some signs of wear, like stains on the carpets. The rooms are average in size with large square windows that have striped drapes. Royal blue wall-to-wall carpeting is contrasted by white walls and colorful accents like red and beige (often striped) throws. The beds, with white linen and a menu of pillow choices, have blond-wood headboards with adjustable reading lights, while blond-wood desks offer multiple electrical outlets.
