The Hotel Travel Park is a mid-range hotel with its own parking garage underneath. Inside the white building there is a modern lobby with a curvy, wooden front desk and a gray couch. Marbled walls form the hallway to the bar area where guests can order snacks and drinks. The bar itself matches the front desk, and a handful of marble steps lead up to a seating area with a big TV and couches and chairs on a large rug. Breakfast is served in a room with silver columns and a mirrored wall where guests, mainly couples with some families mixed in, can enjoy their meals at tables covered in blue linens. The hotel has a stone terrace with potted plants and metal tables and chairs with ashtrays where guests can smoke or relax and take in the views of the surrounding aged buildings. 

Hotel Travel Park is located on the Avenida Almirante Reis, one of the main avenues in Lisbon. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, including a pharmacy but the area is shady at night, and guests should take precautions with belongings. The Anjos Metro Station is nearby, putting the historic city center within a 10-minute commute and the airport with a 35-minute commute on public transportation. St. George’s Castle and the lively neighborhood, Bairro Alto, can be reached within 35 minutes on public transportation or around 15 minutes by car.

Rooms at the Hotel Travel Park are classically decorated, with light walls, laminate wooden floors, and patterned floor-length curtains. They are clean but have some dated features, including patterned bedspreads and tube-style TVs. All rooms have minibars and free Wi-Fi, but passcodes are given per device and are limited. Basic bathrooms have shower/tub combos, generous amenity kits, and makeup mirrors. Rooms on higher floors in the back of the hotel are the quietest.

The Hotel Travel Park has a breakfast buffet earning good reviews from guests and is available for a fee, or included in some packages. Room service is offered until late, and snack and drinks are available at the bar on-site. The hotel has an outdoor terrace with seating. Parking is available in an underground lot that can accommodate up to 130 cars. Seven meeting rooms are available for private events, accommodating up to 100 guests. The hotel has a business center, for a fee, with one computer. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout, but passcodes are given on a per device basis and are limited.
