Go Native Kensington (formerly Go Native Earl's Court) was built in 2009 as part of a trend of regeneration and modernization of the area, and the glimmering glass and steel architecture of this very 21st century building certainly played its part. The lobby area doesn't impress quite as much as exteriors though, which is very basic with little in the way of character, but is smart and functional with a reception desk that turns into a glowing slab of light in the evening. There's little in the way of communal areas besides a small lobby seating area, and hallways are generally dark and uninviting. As an apartment property rather than a traditional hotel, however, means it's all about the self-contained units and the clientele tend more towards longer lets, both business guests in town for the Earl's Court or Olympia Exhibition Centers or families looking for a more home-away-from-home environment.

The apartments are located just off the busy intersection of the A4 road in West London's Earl's Court neighborhood -- meaning excellent car access into and out of the city. Earl's Court Tube station, however, is a 10-minute walk away while the nearer is West Kensington, just over five minutes on foot. The main local landmark is the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre, also about a five-minute walk away, and the Olympia Exhibition Centre is 10 minutes away. It's a 10-15 minute drive into the center of London, while Heathrow Airport is an easy 30 minutes away by car. There is also a Tesco supermarket right next door for self-catering supplies.

Go Native Kensington has a choice of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments spread over 10 floors. Decor is tastefully done in neutral tones with the odd splash of color, wood floors, and cozy yet contemporary furnishings. Kitchens are small but high spec and fully equipped, even including a washer/dryer machine, and flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi come standard. Bathrooms are clean and well-designed with walk-in showers and towels and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries included. Some guests have complained about a lack of functional air-conditioning.

As serviced apartments, the property doesn't offer much in the way of facilities, though guests too busy to make breakfast can have it delivered to their door -- there is also a children's option. Parking is available 24 hours at the supermarket next door, which is also useful for self-catering supplies. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
