Inside the mood is more contemporary with bold black and white wallpaper, polished granite floors, and colorful low-profile couches dotted around a relatively bright and spacious reception area. The atmosphere is fresh and modern, though can feel a little chainy, and attracts families and tourists keen to be close to many of London's attractions while avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city center.

The hotel is located one block from Queensway, a busy tourist hub just west of Central London with many souvenir shops, restaurants, and bars. The street itself mainly consists of other hotels and hostels, and Bayswater tube station is just round the corner. Pretty Kensington Gardens are also just a couple blocks away, while Paddington train terminal is five minutes by cab.

Rooms here are very small; some guests complain about lack of space for luggage. The style is traditional and amenities include a big flat-screen TV, safe, mini-fridge, and electric kettle. Beds have white linens and floors are carpeted. Bedside lamps provide a nice touch of soft light. Bathrooms are modern and have either walk-in showers or shower/tub combos.

The hotel is somewhat lacking in facilities, though a simple breakfast is served each morning in the basement dining room.
