The Kimpton Everly Hotel was designed to appeal to Millennial travelers. The lobby space has all the trappings: communal seating, custom art, lots of outlets, a frame cluster, and a full bar. The design features lots of windows and Mid-Century Modern touches like pendant lamps and Eames-style chairs. A pool table is on hand for those who want to take a break from their laptop. Daily wine receptions are popular. Most guests are couples or business travelers who want to stay loyal to the Kimpton brand and be in Hollywood. 

The Kimpton Everly is very much in Hollywood, but it's on a nondescript section of Argyle Street right below the 101 Freeway. Noise isn't an issue, but it's not entirely aesthetically pleasing. Luckily, it's only a five-minute walk south to Hollywood Boulevard, lined with restaurants, theaters, and shops. It's also an ideal spot for visiting Universal Studios (six-minute drive) or Griffith Observatory (12 minutes). Burbank Airport is a 20-minute drive or its about 45 minutes to an hour to LAX. 

The Kimpton Everly Hotel offers 204 guest rooms and 12 suites on the fifth through 15th floors of the hotel. The design style features a mostly neutral color scheme with clean lines and contemporary furnishings, plus tasteful art. At 350-square-feet, City View King or Two Queen Rooms are entry level, and these have views of the L.A. skyline. Upgrading to the next level buys the same layout and design, but views of the Hollywood Sign. Spa King Rooms feature a lovely standalone soaking tub in the bathroom. Standard amenities include a flat-screen TV with Chromecast, yoga mat, Wi-Fi (free for loyalty members) and closet space. 

Features at Kimpton Everly are fun and (mostly) free. The outdoor pool on the 5th floor features sun loungers, a chill-out space, towels, and sweeping Hollywood views. Ever Bar offers specialty cocktails, Californian wines, and local beers in a hip space that's popular with guests looking to hang out and mingle. Downstairs, Jane Q restaurant doles out breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. The menu focuses on Californian favorites. The basement holds a 24-hour fitness room with modern equipment, along with event space. Wi-Fi is free for loyalty members, and the program is free to sign up for. Guests get a daily wine reception and free morning coffee, plus there's fruit-infused water and apples in the lobby.
