Days Inn Ocean City Oceanfront is a popular hotel among budget-conscious tourists vacationing in Ocean City, and the hotel attracts plenty of families. Rooms and facilities are spread out over a large pale-yellow complex, with three floors of rooms situated around two large courtyard pool areas. There's a garden where staff put out birdseed daily to attract avian visitors. Inside, there's a simple lobby with an ATM and a computer for guest use, plus a couple of plush chairs, but it doesn't really invite lingering. Instead, most guests hang out around one of the two pool areas, where there are more than enough lounge chairs to go around. 

This hotel is located right in the heart of Ocean City, near plenty of local attractions, shops, and restaurants. It's just off the boardwalk overlooking the beach and a couple of blocks from Embers Island Mini Golf. Within easy walking distance, guests will find a pancake house, Dairy Queen, seafood restaurant, and a pizza place. Both Planet Maze and the Midway Shopping Center take five minutes to reach by car or about 20 minutes on foot. Jolly Roger Amusement Park is a seven-minute drive or 25-minute walk away. Getting to the Ocean City Municipal Airport takes about 15 minutes by car, as does the adjacent Eagle's Landing Golf Course. Baltimore is about a three-hour drive. Washington D.C. and its two airports are about three-and-a-half hours in the car. 

This hotel offers simple rooms with either one king bed or two double beds. While rooms are similar in terms of decor and amenities, views vary: some look out over the ocean, while others face the pool and/or parking area. Decor is simple and on the dated side, with dark-wood furniture, rust-hued carpets, white beds with light-green bed skirts and runners, and heavy blackout curtains. All rooms come with mini-fridges, microwaves, safes, and desks; some of the larger units have sofas. Rooms are equipped with free high-speed Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms have an efficiency cooking area with a sink, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and toaster oven. Sectioned-off areas with beige tile floors and mirrored vanities are provided in some units.  Bathrooms are simple but bright, with off-white marble tiling, large cabinets, and basic toiletries. All units feature shower/tub combos and come equipped with hairdryers and toiletries. Note that past guests have occasionally complained about unpleasant odors and cleanliness issues. 

This hotel offers a good array of amenities that focus almost entirely on beach vacations. There are two large outdoor pools, each surrounded by lounge chairs. One of the pools has a splash area that's popular with families. Beach access is another important features, though the hotel doesn't provide drink service or chairs on the sand. The Anchor restaurant is open for all three meals and serves pizza, pasta, and seafood dishes. Breakfast isn't included in room rates. Business amenities include a medium-size banquet hall/conference room for rent, free hotel-wide Wi-Fi, and a computer in the lobby that's free for guest use. There's also plenty of free on-site self-parking for guests with cars.
