However, it lacks a restaurant -- there's not even a breakfast service.

4

Beachfront Manor Hotel

Lincoln City, Oregon Coast, Oregon, United States

The 30-unit Beachfront Manor Hotel is a serene, three-pearl hillside property on a sparsely occupied stretch of sand with unobstructed Pacific Ocean views. Some units also have hot tubs on the decks. The sister hotel -- where check-ins are facilitated -- offers laundry facilities, but neither property has a restaurant.

5

The Waves

Cannon Beach, Oregon Coast, Oregon, United States

The Waves is a value property right in the heart of Cannon Beach, with an excellent location -- but few amenities. The 36 rooms range from simple units to two-bedroom condo-style units, many with decks, fireplaces, and kitchens or kitchenettes. On-site amenities are limited to a few DVDs and beach toys in the lobby, and a whirlpool hot tub with beach views. Lanai at the Cove

Seaside, Oregon Coast, Oregon, United States

High on value and low on frills, the mid-range Lanai at the Cove is a good choice for vacationers looking to get away from it all. Rooms are individually owned and decorated, and some are pet-friendly, so inquiring about the specific room prior to booking is essential. Each room has a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, those that face the ocean include private balconies. An outdoor heated pool is a nice perk for this price range.

7

8
