The scene at Parc Corniche Condominium Resort Hotel looks and feels more like a quiet apartment complex than a tourist hotel. Most of the guests spend their time off-property at theme parks. The hotel has a small reception area. Free coffee is served but there isn't furniture for lingering. Outside, the heated swimming pool is surrounded by several plastic sun loungers but no umbrellas. A game room is adjacent to the pool. Calypso Bar and Grill has an aquarium theme with seashell mobiles and ceramic fish hanging on the wall.

The property has a unique location in that it's surrounded by the lushly green Grande Pines Golf Club but still close to convenient International Drive, so the property is quiet and secluded but nonetheless accessible to theme parks and restaurants. SeaWorld is only two miles away and Disney World is about a 10-minute drive. The hotel offers a free shuttle though reviews are mixed on how convenient it is. Ample parking is free.

One and two-bedroom suites include full modern kitchens which are particularly convenient for families and those who want to cook; they include everything but an oven. Cutlery, dishes, a toaster oven, and coffeemaker are standard -- as is a dishwasher. Dining and living room areas have flat-screen TVs and kitchen tables, though sofas look faded and dusty. Bed coverlets could use a refresh and mattresses get mixed reviews. Private water closets are a nice touch. Shower/bathtub combos show rust in the drains. Furnished balconies overlook the swimming pool or golf course. Light housekeeping includes fresh towels and trash removal, but it will cost extra for a thorough cleaning that includes changing the sheets.

Long term guests will appreciate the on-site laundromat and a convenience store style gift shop that sells cleaning products, snacks, and cold drinks. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Kids will appreciate a video arcade and foosball table. Continental breakfast is free and Calypso Bar and Grill serves three meals a day, plus cocktails. The fitness center is tiny with just three cardio machines and no weights. Expect to pay a daily charge for Wi-Fi. Pets are not allowed.
