Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix-Scottsdale has a mostly contemporary decor, though the restaurant area could use an update. However, it’s packed with plenty of free amenities, spacious suites, and lots of meeting spaces, drawing mostly families and business travelers. This can sometimes make for crowded public spaces and bothersome noise in the evenings and early mornings, but overall, it’s still a great pick. Guests are particularly impressed by views of Stonecreek Golf Club and Camelback Mountain from rooms and the restaurant. The proximity of the golf course has allowed for pristine greenery around the property and bike and hiking trails from the hotel. The lobby is a bit more functional than stylish, but manages some nice areas like a seating area with red cozy armchairs.

Though Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix-Scottsdale sits well outside of the downtown centers of Phoenix and Scottsdale, it has a pretty great location for other reasons. For one, it’s conveniently across the street from the Stonecreek Golf Club and has biking and hiking trails that lead from the hotel. The Paradise Valley Mall is a four-minute drive or 13-minute walk away, and there are plenty of dining options within five- to 10-minute walks from the property. It takes 25 minutes by car to reach downtown Scottsdale or downtown Phoenix. Camelback Mountain is just a 23-minute drive away. It takes 17 minutes by car to reach the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. 

All rooms at this Embassy Suites are two-room suites with living rooms, desks, and wet bars -- making them a great choice for families and groups who like a bit of extra space. The rooms were renovated (not reflected in our current photos) and are now decorated with dark brown carpeting, white beds with black headboards, maroon curtains, and sleek wooden furniture. The Presidential Suites have a classier design with a decor in tones of cream and beige, fine fabrics, and eclectic art pieces. The rooms come with flat-screen TVs, kitchenettes with microwaves and mini-fridges, safes, and coffeemakers. All suites have furnished patios with golf course, mountain, or parking lot views. Bathrooms are standard and come with shower/tub combos, hairdryers, and Giovanni toiletries. 

Like many large chain hotels, Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix-Scottsdale doesn’t limit itself to providing features to a specific customer, but casts a wide net with amenities for every type of traveler. There’s an outdoor heated pool and hot tub surrounded by loungers, golf course views, and a fire pit. The gym is open 24/7 and has Precor cardio equipment and free weights. The small gift shop sells snacks and pool toys. What sets Embassy apart is its freebies, including Wi-Fi, parking, and a cooked-to-order hot breakfast with items like omelettes. There’s also a free evening reception with drinks and snacks. The hotel’s restaurant offers American cuisine. Business travelers will appreciate a business center and 17,000 square feet of fully-equipped meeting space.
