But it's worth comparing rates with the nearby Hotel Indigo, which offers free Wi-Fi and free covered parking.

Hipsters and young couples will love the Indigo's retro decor, lively vibe, and convenient location near Scottsdale's trendiest nightclubs. Just don't come expecting a quiet night. The popular Gallo Blanco Cafe and Bar, and the convenient location near downtown Phoenix, draws a devoted fan base. But you'll have to shell out $15 a day for the resort fee.

The 3 Palms may look like a motel on the outside, but this affordable Scottsdale boutique has tasteful, contemporary rooms, solid freebies (including self-parking and Wi-Fi), and friendly service. The big, heated pool is impressive, and downtown Scottsdale is only a five-minute drive away. The bathrooms are a bit small, though.
