With its bright-white buildings, hot-pink poolside umbrellas, and glistening lobby with carved columns and glass walls, the Bliss is more modern than many of its Patong counterparts. Its helpful staff and wonderful location across the street from the white sand and turquoise water of Patong Beach makes for many return guests. The Bliss draws couples and families keen on soaking up the sun at the beach or pool, where the vibe is somewhat trendy, though tempered with lots of leafy trees, palms, and large gray boulders. The buildings' white balconies overlook the curving free-form pools, lined with black sun loungers draped in the hotel's neon-green beach towels. The Carpe Diem cafe has a covered terrace beside the pool, where guests can order drinks and catch some shade. The Carouselle restaurant has a vaguely futuristic look, with its curved, wood-paneled ceiling and plastic chairs crowding a room with sea views. 

Across from Patong Beach, the Bliss is a convenient choice for guests who want to spend their days in the sand and sea. There are plenty of shops and bars in the immediate area, and the major nightlife and shopping areas are within walking distance. It's a 15-minute walk to Bangla Night Plaza and a 20-minute walk to shops at Jungceylon. Old Town Phuket, with its historic temples, is a half-hour drive, and the quieter Karon Beach is within a 15-minute drive. Phuket International Airport in about 50 minutes away by car, and the hotel can arrange transfers. 

The Bliss offers Deluxe Rooms and Suites, all modern and polished with lots of bright white, sleek tile, and brushed wood. Metallic silk throw pillows, glass-walled bathrooms, and bright-yellow doors are nice touches, but the overall look may be a bit stark. All rooms have balconies with resort or sea views, minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities, safes, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and bottled water. Bathrooms are tiled in white and beige, and have showers with brushed-glass walls. The Pool Suite has a private plunge pool, while other suites have hot tubs for two and rain showerheads. 

The best feature of The Bliss is its location across the street from Patong Beach, where guests can lie out on the white sand. The on-site pool is clean and relaxing, with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Carpe Diem has a covered terrace beside the pool deck, and serves light snacks and cocktails. Carouselle restaurant serves Thai and international fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and room service is available. The hotel has a meeting room with space for 50 people, and can book airport transfers, car rentals, and tours. Wi-Fi is free.
