The Senses Resort is best suited for those who want to be close to the excitement and sandy shores of Patong, but also want a peaceful vacation. The stylish open-air lobby features hip designs, colorful lighting details, and mod furniture. Two glass elevators offer city views. Hallways are standard but bright, thanks to large windows.

The Senses Resort sits on a hillside above Patong's party scene. The hotel is away from the wild Bangla Soi District, which is a 10-minute drive away. It’s a five-minute drive via the resort’s tuk tuk to the Jungceylon Shopping Mall or 10 minutes to Patong Beach. The Ban San Fresh Market is within a 10-minute walk. Since the hotel is on a hillside, guests may want to rent a car or moped. Driving to the airport takes 45 minutes. Phuket town and Wat Chalong Temple are within a 25-minute drive, and the Big Buddha statue is about a 35-minute drive.

Contemporary furniture, floor-to-ceiling windows, and beach artwork can be found in Suites, Superior, and Deluxe rooms. Pool access or sea view rooms are available. Rooms have writing desks, bedside light/temperature controls, minibars, tea/coffee makers, iPod docks, bathrobes, flashlights, two free water bottles, slippers, safes, and flat-screen TVs. Modern bathrooms have rainfall showerheads. Daybeds and drying racks are on balconies, overlooking the pool, city, or sea. Pool access rooms have terraces directly on a lazy lake. The Eat More Restaurant offers a casual atmosphere, with classic furniture, blue and green throw pillows, floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace that overlooks the cityscape. There’s also the nearby Love Lounge that serves coffee, baked items, and cocktails in a trendy setting. Guests can take classes in Thai cuisine or fruit carving on-site.

Sitting on top of a hill, the resort offers fantastic city and Andaman Sea views from most of the resort, including the infinity pool that lights up at night. The rooftop Splash Mountain Pool -- with a bubble zone, a kiddie pool, and fountains -- is sleek and overlooks Patong. The wooden planked deck is furnished with potted palms, stylish lounge chairs, and blue umbrellas. Behind the deck is a lazy lake for private Pool Access Rooms. The swim-up Splash Mountain Bar offers submerged stools, a wooden terrace, and ice cream. The Unwind Spa features clean treatment rooms and a solarium with red leather lounge chairs. The resort’s small fitness center provides free weights and modern cardio equipment. The hotel draws couples, but the competitively priced rooms and kids’ club  -- the Smiley Face Club offers a playroom and flat-screen TV for kids ages 4 to 12 -- also pulls in families. 

The resort also has a meeting room, the Inspire Conference Room, which is bright and modern. An LCD projector, stage, and modern audiovisual equipment are available. A business center also offers two PC computers and fax services. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
