Anah Suites has a bold modern exterior and sits on a nondescript street. The boxy building is painted bright white and lined with palm trees encircled in bright white lights. Inside, the lobby features attractive modern decor in wood and light colors, accented with black-wire hanging lamps and bright patterned floor tiles. Open hallways wrap around narrow courtyards filled with tropical plants and manmade ponds that add to the relaxed vibe. Despite being partly comprised of privately owned units, Anah Suites has a dedicated 24-hour staff at the front desk to help all guests and provide local recommendations and tour assistance. This is a quiet property with a calm atmosphere and is suited to tourist families and couples who want to prepare their own meals in a home-like setting. The property offers a private experience -- guests tend not to cross paths during their stays, except up on the rooftop terrace. 

Anah Suites is well located for tourists in the beachside city of Playa del Carmen. The property is on a quiet street, but is only three blocks from the popular 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida), which is lined with restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shops. A supermarket is just a block away from the suites as well, making it easy for guests to pick up groceries with which to stock their kitchens. The beach is about 10 minutes away on foot and offers beach clubs with bars and restaurants that typically rent out umbrellas and chairs for a fee. Cozumel is a two-hour drive away. Tulum is just under an hour by car. The ancient Maya city of Coba is a 90-minute drive. Cancun's international airport is a 45-minute drive from the property, which provides a shuttle service for a fee. 

The bright and airy condo-style units at Anah Suites feature a modern minimalist style that showcases clean lines and a pleasant palette of mostly white and gray. The unadorned white walls and overall lack of accessories might feel a little cold for some guests' taste. However, bedrooms feel warmer thanks to pale-turquoise and wood accent walls. Units have between one and four bedrooms and all have full, sleek kitchens with stainless steel refrigerators and electric ranges. Living rooms feature large flat-screen TVs, and there are balconies accessed by sliding-glass doors in all units. Most bathrooms are spacious and feature beautiful beige marble showers, white basin sinks, and mosaic-tile mirrors. Anah brand organic bath products and hairdryers are provided. There is daily maid service -- though not for guests in privately owned units, which get weekly maid service. Units on the north side of the property tend to be cooler than those facing the south. Wi-Fi is free and units are air-conditioned. 

For a condo-style property, Anah Suites offers a nice selection of features. There are plenty of dining options and a grocery store nearby, and guests can also request room service, private chef service, or grocery delivery (for a fee). There are two relatively small rooftop pools available with distant views of the ocean. White-and-wicker sunbeds line the pool edge and the white, marble, and glass surroundings create a stylish setting. There's also a hot tub that is shared by all guests (book ahead). A rooftop bar is open to guests and sells snacks, and there's extra terrace space with more sunbeds and umbrellas. Other features include a small, but modern gym and a small spa that offers massages, facials, and nail services. An arcade room and a free kids' club are offered along with guest laundry and an outdoor cinema. Underground parking is free. A 24-hour business center has free Wi-Fi, like the rest of the property's common spaces.
