Located just off 5th Avenue, Suites Corazon makes a charming first impression upon arrival with cute iron and stone railings and potted plants at the entrance. Inside, the lobby has lots going on with a pink and white color scheme and large paintings on the walls. Beyond the rooftop terrace -- a charming area with sun loungers and some couches and chairs, travelers won’t find many places to sit and socialize. With only 14 units and few public spaces, the hotel makes for a laid-back and quiet atmosphere that draws couples and groups of friends. 

Suites Corazon is located on a busy street in Playa del Carmen just a three-minute walk from Quinta Alegria Shopping Mall and a two-minute walk from the famous 5th Avenue, filled with shops and restaurants. It’s an ideal location for those who want to be right in the mix of all that’s happening in Playa del Carmen. There are plenty of dining options and nightlife spots on surrounding streets or within less than a 10-minute walk. Travelers can also reach Playa del Carmen’s famous beaches on foot in just six minutes. It’s less than an hours’ drive to Cancun International Airport. 

The hotel has 14 studio-like rooms with a modern, cheerful decor that varies slightly among units. While some rooms have a pink and black color palette, others feature cream and pink color schemes. The furniture -- whether white or black -- is sleek and IKEA-like in style. The couches in the small living room areas are comfy and perfect to sit back and catch a program on the flat-screen TVs. Though the furnished patios and balconies don’t have superb views, they’re still perfect to have a snack or drink and enjoy some fresh air. Some studios on the first floor also come equipped with deep jetted tubs. All units have air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, safes (for a fee), and kitchenettes with mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, sinks, two-burner stoves, and cookware. Daily housekeeping with fun towel designs are a nice perk and not often provided at apartments. The spacious stone-tiled bathrooms are lovely for their vessel sinks and glass showers with waterfall showerheads. Toiletries are provided in bathrooms, but hairdryers must be requested from the front desk. 

As a boutique apartment-style hotel, Suites Corazon doesn’t offer tons of amenities. There’s a small rooftop swimming pool with a shaded terrace filled with loungers. It’s small, but does the trick for a quick dip. A simple breakfast is offered at a nearby bar for a fee. Beach towels are available for guests heading to the beach. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. For those with a car, paid parking is available nearby.
