The lovely, pale green hotel has flowers and plants peeking over its white, iron railing. A spiral staircase twists up the side of the building. A decent-sized backyard offers guests additional outdoor space to enjoy, and while breakfast is served daily inside, it can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio. The property has a homey vibe, with owner Simonetta and her family offering homemade cakes at breakfast and helping out with guests' requests, such as securing bicycles or sorting out local transit schedules.

The B&B Simonetta is in a residential area. It is fairly quiet, but there has been some complaints of noise from nearby traffic. The views are lackluster at best, as neighboring yards are not well-kept. The beach is a 10-­­minute walk away, and there are many restaurants to choose from near the shore. The center of Porto Cesareo is a five-minute walk away, and Nardò is a 20-minute drive from the B&B.

Guest rooms are all on the second floor of the B&B Simonetta. Rooms have color themes with bright comforters and color-coordinated closets and bathroom tile work. All rooms have showers, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have bunk beds and the yellow room has a balcony.

The B&B offers outdoor patio seating where guests can sit to eat a daily breakfast that includes yogurts and homemade pastries. There is also a decent-sized backyard for guests to enjoy. Rooms are cleaned daily and linens are changed every two days.
