Set on a hillside overlooking the ocean, the Miramare Hotel offers guests a beautiful, tranquil retreat. Stone steps lead down to glass doors that mark the entrance of this bright, modern hotel. Inside there's a small front desk next to a bar where guests can enjoy a cocktail or a coffee. Powder-blue sofas, dark stone walls, and wood tables create a posh seating area in the lobby. A staircase and elevator lead up to rooms and to the roof terrace where guests can enjoy ocean views from lounge chairs. Down at the beach, pine trees provide shade to guests lounging on the small sand bar situated just behind the rocky shore. 

The hotel is situated just across the street from the beach. It’s within a 15-minute drive to the village of Gallipolli, an active fishing port with several dining and nightlife options. The city center of Lecce is around a half-hour drive from the hotel, and Brindisi-Salento Airport can be reached in about an hour by car. There isn't any parking at the hotel. 

White walls, tile floors, and bright blue bedding make for breezy, modern decor in the Miramare's stylishly simple rooms. Bathrooms are decorated with blue towels and have walk-in showers and heated towel racks. Some rooms come with bath robes, and all rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars inside small refrigerators. Some of the rooms come with gorgeous sea-facing balconies set with hot tubs that are perfect for watching the sun set over the western shore. 

The Miramare's beach area -- across the road from the hotel -- has parasols, loungers, and a lifeguard on-duty. Inside the hotel, there’s a chic lobby bar and a computer for guests to use. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. There's also an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the food gets mixed reviews. A rooftop terrace offers lounge chairs and ocean views. Bikes are available to borrow.
