The medieval Otranto Cathedral, which has a beautiful 12th-century floor mosaic, is also a short walk from the hotel. The ancient city of Lecce, known for its Baroque cathedral, is a 45-minute drive from the hotel, and Gallipoli, whose old town is a limestone island on the Ionian Sea, is an hour-drive away.
