Definitely not a chip off the old block, i-Suite has an experimental aesthetic throughout. Although it may hint at its deviance on the outside, the hotel's arty and ultramodern design isn't fully apparent until you are inside. From the moment you step into the polished all-white lobby with low-rising leather couches, glass walls, and multiple TV pods, it seems like you’ve flashed into the future. Waving lines, pops of bright color, and reflective surfaces are the dominating design elements. However, even with its sleekness, the decor also has a tendency to look plastic and cheap. Everything is sterile and minimalistic save the occasional patches of wood flooring or mechanically landscaped patches of grass. Overall, even though the vibe is hip and cool, something is missing.

The hotel is located off a main street, a block from the Adriatic Sea and a 25-minute walk to the city center. It is also about a five-minute walk to Beach 55, where guests have access to a seaside promenade. Guests may also want to visit the old town of Rimini, which is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops as well as historic sights from the ancient Roman era. The property is also convenient to the Rimini train station, which can be reached in about five minutes by car or in less than 20 minutes by foot. The closest airport, Federico Fellini International, is a bit more than 10 minutes by car to the south. There are also two public bus stops within a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Running with prevailing uber-modern motifs, each of the 55 suites has a unique layout and inventive fusing of furniture and interior design. The nearly all-white color schemes and plethora of smooth and polished surfaces give off a minimalist, clinical feel. With a multitude of features available in varying combinations -- flat-screen TVs (in the bathroom or ceiling mounted), sea views, Corian tubs (inside or outside the bathroom), and fireplaces -- rooms can be somewhat of a gamble. However, all units are equipped with an Internet media center, a minibar, free SKY TV and Wi-Fi, and a choice of room scent. However, with so much attention paid to the look and feel of the rooms, some guests feel it comes at a cost of functionality: Desks have no electrical plugs. Bedside tables are absent. And there’s a lack of privacy due to fairly large slits in doors.

Separated from the street by just a few panels of frosted glass, the hotel pool area follows suit with the property's general vibe. Crystal clear water fills two pools, one large and one small, while standard deck furniture is replaced by floating loungers and large pillows covered by umbrellas. The larger pool's sloped floor allows for easy entry, while shallow areas pepper the pool's border. The smaller pool has hydro-massage features. The hotel's restaurant, i-Fame, is open to the public (but closed to everyone on Tuesdays) and has both an indoor and outdoor dining area. Gourmet seafood dishes are offered via the a la carte and chef's menus. Breakfast is included in all rates: crepes, omelets, fresh juices, and other hot and cold breakfast items are included. There’s also an indoor bar area that offers terrace and poolside service. To work off those extra cocktails or desserts, i-Suite has a small exercise room with a few cardio machines. Free monitored parking for 40 cars is available.

The i-Feel Good Spa is an ultra-modern facility located on the property's top floor. With floor-to-ceiling windows, guests can enjoy treatments with stunning views of the beach and sea. Blanch-white walls wave into window-facing emotional showers, while both the heated Thalasso salt pool and hydro-massaging infinity pool have front row views of the outdoors. There's also a steam room, ice pool, and private treatment rooms. A variety of items from a healthy buffet are available to spa guests between treatments or while in the relaxation room. The spa is exclusive to hotel guests save a few windows of time when it is open to the public. All spa guests must wear swimsuits and be at least 17 years old.

Although the hotel does not have a dedicated stretch of beach, they have worked out a discount agreement with Beach 55. For a small fee, all i-Suite guests can get two sun loungers and an umbrella for day use. Under the agreement, guests also get free limited use of pedal boats. This beach is shallow with calm waters, making it ideal for wading or quick dips, and there are lifeguards on duty to ensure safety.
