Each of the high-ceiling guest rooms at Al Viminale Hill Inn & Hotel are decorated in a similar, classical style that's typical of many hotels in Rome. Impeccably clean and well-maintained, they're fitted with parquet flooring and custom made furniture painted in light beige tones. The lower half of the walls are covered in wood paneling of the same color, while the upper portions of the walls are painted a shell-pink. Murals behind the bed depict romantic scenes of ancient Rome. But some may find the decor here to be old fashioned and even frumpy, and scarlet bedspreads, curtains, and upholstery could either be read as grand or grandmotherly. Many of the guest rooms have views that overlook the square and Opera House directly opposite.

Each room features air-conditioning, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, and safe. Noise-reducing windows and shutters are effective in diminishing street noise. Bathrooms take a modern detour with Bisazza mosaic tiling covers in tones of beige and brown and clear-glass round vessel sinks.
