Antonia Hotel Santorini is a family-owned budget property with 15 rooms and studios. The east-facing hotel doesn't have any of Santorini's world famous sea views, but a location on a quiet street just a couple minutes’ walk from Fira's main square makes up for it. Standard rooms and studios with balconies are available, though past guests have noted that triple rooms can feel cramped for three people. There isn't an on-site restaurant, but coffee and wine are free. Two tiny outdoor pools, free Wi-Fi, and nearby parking are nice perks for this price point, as is the free shuttle to the airport or port. Oia's Sunset, in the northwest tip of Santorini, is another value property, this one with visible sea views from some of the apartments and a relatively large pool.

Small and quiet family-owned hotel
Though prices here are comparable to what youth hostels charge, you won't find many backpackers or club kids at Antonia Hotel Santorini. The scene is family friendly and mostly quiet, with the majority of repeat guests using the hotel to sleep and taking advantage of its free coffee. Traditional Cycladic architecture makes up the exterior, and inside you'll find Greek god-inspired artwork hanging on the walls and wooden tables in the small coffee and bar area. There's a communal outdoor balcony with chairs and tables, but views of a wall and neighboring building make it more less conducive to relaxing.

Antonia Hotel Santorini is located on a quiet street right by a tourist-friendly area packed with restaurants, clubs, and bars. Parking in a private lot near the Antonia is free and plentiful. (Reservations aren't required.) The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport and port as long as you allow for three days’ notice, and a nearby public bus brings passengers all around the island.

Standard and studio rooms with private balconies and a range of views
There are 15 air-conditioned rooms inside the Antonia, ranging from large studios to standard rooms with three beds. Traditional wood furniture and white-tile floors are offset by bold red walls, floral curtains, and red bed coverlets. Orange and white stripes bedeck studio walls. All rooms have small flat-screen TVs, mini0fridges, electric kettles, hairdryers, and private furnished balconies (some views are minimal). Private bathrooms are well-maintained but cramped, with pedestal sinks and small shower stalls covered with fabric curtains.

Wi-Fi is free throughout and occasional spotty service has more to do with the island setting than quality of coverage. There are also two small outdoor pools with sun loungers. Unlimited coffee and house-made wine are provided free of charge in a small lobby bar with six wooden tables and ancient Greece-inspired art on the walls. Bike rentals are available as well.
