Disio Resort is situated in a secluded rural area. The historic walled town of Erice is a one-hour drive north, and the ancient seaside town of Marsala -- with attractions like the Chiesa San Francesco di Paola church and Porta Garibaldi port -- is about a 20-minute drive southeast. Trapani Airport is 13.5 miles (22 kilometers) north of the resort.

The Disìo has 23 spacious rooms, ranging from 320 to 430 square feet. Rooms are not very upscale, but they have attractive, European-style décor: dark wood furnishings with red and gold bedding and accents. Rooms open to balconies with views of the quiet surrounding grounds and golf course. Bathrooms are on the small side but are clean and modern with showers.
