The sun-lit lobby at the Paradise Beach Resort is one of the nicest spots on the property. The gold, pendant-style light fixtures and dramatic, floor-to-ceiling columns are punched up with tropical accents that include potted green plants and rattan furniture with plush, white cushions. Gauzy, orange draperies hang over the windows. Outside, the manicured beach area and swimming pool hold lots of blue lounge chairs for guest use. Statuesque palm trees dot the outdoor dining area.

The Paradise Beach Resort was built just before the Belice Nature Reserve was established, so the beach and natural areas of the property are some of the most pristine and rugged in Italy. The nearby Archaeological Park of Selinunte has great hiking and ancient Greek ruins to explore. However, there isn't much in terms of restaurants or shops within walking distance and most guests choose the property to enjoy the natural beauty around it. The hotel provides free parking and offers shuttle service for a fee to locations within approximately 11 miles (15 kilometers).

The rooms inside The Paradise Beach Resort were built in the '80s and very little has changed since then. There are obvious maintenance issues that include peeling wallpaper and grimy floor tiles in the bathrooms. Decor consists of white walls, tile floors, and orange draperies. The patterned bed coverlets look faded and only some rooms have flat-screen TVs or views of the beach from semi-private balconies. Busy printed wallpaper in the bathrooms makes the space look smaller than it actually is. Hairdryers are attached to the walls.

Families looking to spend most of their vacation outdoors will appreciate all the recreational activities offered at The Paradise Beach Resort. Though the swimming pool and beach are very clean and well maintained, the tennis courts and mini-golf course are visibly damaged from sun and wear. The free breakfast buffet in the morning is a nice perk. A restaurant serves lunch and dinner, while a bar provides drinks. The property also has a convention center, though there aren't any other business-oriented features outside of the free Wi-Fi.
