Scene
Modern facility with rustic surroundings
The property has the scruffy look common to the region, with fairly modern public spaces and a slightly rustic feel. The pool area is surrounded by palm trees and the restaurant is spacious, with high wooden ceilings and shaded outdoor seating. The grounds are fairly well kept, with hanging baskets on the patios of the modern and simple mobile homes, though they're not luxurious by any stretch. The playground includes a bouncy castle. The majority of the guests here are Italian families, though international tourists visit as well.
Location
Close to beaches and a short drive to town
The Sporting Club Village is located just off the highway, a bit more than an hour from the Palermo airport. It’s a five-minute walk to a nearby beach, with other beaches a short drive away. It’s 10-15 minutes to the center of Mazara del Vallo by car and getting to the town of Marsala requires a 40-minute drive. The campsite is also ideally located for touring historical sites on the west coast of Sicily. Ample parking is free.

Two large pools, a restaurant, and a playground with children’s activities

The village’s large restaurant serves lunch and dinner and also provides takeaway pizzas. A small on-site supermarket only provides basic essentials, but there are other markets nearby with a better selection. The resort also has tennis courts, two artificial turf soccer fields, and a playground, where an entertainment team organizes games, dance classes, and other activities.
