The Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort Bali
Jl. Pratama 97A

The 185-room Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort Bali is one of the cheapest upper-middle-range beachfront resorts in the area. It's an older property with lovely grounds, although its location on the northern tip of the Tanjung Benoa Peninsula may be a little too isolated for some. Guest rooms are spacious, with flat-screen TVs, minibars, and balconies with garden views, but some bathrooms are in need of an update. There is loud music around the main pool, but guests seeking a quieter spot can grab a lounger at the beachfront pool, located across the street. There's also a pleasant spa and a small but well-equipped fitness center, and freebies include shuttle service to the popular Bali Collection shopping mall, a varied breakfast buffet, and Wi-Fi throughout. Business travelers wanting to stay closer to the Convention Center may want to compare rates at the Grand Whiz Hotel Nusa Dua.

Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Spa - Bali
Jl. Pratama 74

The 301-room Grand Mirage is an upscale all-inclusive beach resort in the quiet Tanjung Benoa area. It caters to families and couples with a wide array of daily activities for all ages, free non-motorized water sports, a pool with a swim-up bar, and an excellent spa with a large hydrotherapy area and treatments also for kids. Spacious rooms have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and free minibars (replenished daily), and all have furnished balconies, some overlooking the ocean. But the property is starting to show its age, and some rooms have maintenance issues. Those not set on staying at an all-inclusive may want to compare rates at Novotel Bali Benoa

The Royal Santrian, Luxury Beach Villas
Jl. PratamaTanjung Benoa, PO Box 64

The Royal Santrian is one of the smallest yet most luxurious properties in this part of Nusa Dua Beach. Its 20 villas are housed in beautiful traditional Balinese pavilions and have private pools, outdoor living areas, and large bathrooms with outdoor showers. The gorgeous grounds include a stunning infinity pool with beach views and a Martini bar, and a restaurant serving fusion cuisine, sushi, and teppanyaki. The spa offers body treatments and salon services in a serene pavilion with indoor and outdoor facilities, but there is no gym on-site. The adult-only Kayumanis Nusa Dua Private Villa & Spa offers a similar experience and can have slightly lower rates.

Sol Beach House Bali Benoa
Jalan Pratama

The 127-room Sol Beach House Benoa Bali is an upscale all-inclusive situated on a beautiful sandy beach in the Tanjung Benoa area. Large rooms have contemporary decor with a few traditional Balinese details, as well as private balconies, spacious bathrooms with rain showers, and free Wi-Fi. The outdoor areas are particularly appealing, and include a freeform pool with a swim-up bar and a kiddy section, several drinking and dining options, and manicured lawns with hammocks and beanbags. Neighboring Bali Tropic Resort and Spa has more local charm and similar rates, but is a tad less luxurious.

The Sakala Resort Bali
Jl. Pratama 95

The 237-room Sakala Resort Bali is a sleek, four-and-a-half-pearl beachfront property known for its stunning beach club with a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and an excellent (but pricey) restaurant. Suites are large and upscale, with kitchenettes, outdoor space, and bathrooms with separate rainfall showers and tubs. Villas are duplex units with two en-suite bedrooms, two full kitchens, and lovely private pools. There is no shortage of luxurious amenities here, including a stunning spa with 14 treatment rooms, a four-story fitness center, and a wonderful yoga studio with free morning classes. The beach, though, is better for water sports than for swimming or sunbathing, and the main pool, though huge and pleasant, could use an update. Travelers wanting an all-inclusive vacation may want to compare rates at the Grand Aston Bali Beach Resort.

Conrad Bali
Jl. Pratama 168

The 353-room Conrad Bali is an upscale property situated right on the beach in Nusa Dua. There's not much within walking distance, but the hotel offers plenty to do. Modern rooms are attractive, and all have a balcony or terrace. Some open directly onto the lagoon pool, which is huge and flows around much of the hotel. There's also a full-service spa for treatments indoors or in a beach cabana. The beachfront wedding chapel draws many couples, and the lovely grounds are popular for events as well. Keep in mind fees for Wi-Fi, and that some guests have found some areas of the hotel feeling a little tired. As an alternative, the Grand Hyatt Bali is a similar property that offers free Wi-Fi in guest rooms and has a cultural village on-site.

Novotel Bali Benoa
Jl. Pratama 70

A slightly older, but nicely maintained upscale hotel in one of the less interesting areas of Bali, the Novotel Bali Benoa is a traditionally constructed Balinese resort on the beach with a variety of units that vary from simple rooms to beach cabanas. All 187 rooms are a good size and have an authentic Balinese feel thanks to the plentiful use of teak wood and classic furnishings. Features include three elegant pools, three restaurants, evening entertainment, a tennis court, a fitness center, and a full-service spa. While Wi-Fi is included in room rates, breakfast is not.

Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach
Jl. Pratama no. 68x

The Grand Aston Bali Beach Resort is a luxury property located on the Tangjung Benoa peninsula, in an area dominated by similar resorts. The 188 rooms and suites are elegant and spacious, and all have terraces or balconies, many with views of the Indian Ocean. On-site facilities include a spa, a fitness center, a kids' club, and six bars and restaurants, and a lagoon-style pool -- the resort also has its own beach area. Regular activities range from village tours to beach volleyball, and the resort offers a number of water sports, including Jet-skiing and parasailing. Bikes can be rented, and the resort operates a free shuttle service to nearby Kuta. This is a good value for its caliber; the Novotel Bali Benoa has comparable rates but less impressive bathrooms.

Bali Tropic Resort and Spa
Jl. Pratama 34A

The 150-room Bali Tropic is a family-friendly, upscale all-inclusive with gorgeous traditional Balinese architecture and beautiful tropical gardens. Rooms are spacious and charming, with four-poster beds, lots of ornate wood and stone carvings, and amenities such as flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and lightly stocked minibars. All units have furnished terraces and large bathrooms with walk-in showers and separate stone tubs. The property has three restaurants, including one by the beach open 24/7, and two bars, but food gets mixed reviews. There is also a decent fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a large pool with a swim-up bar and a kiddy section. Those looking for something more contemporary may want to compare rates at Sadara Boutique Beach Resort.
