The Sensi Paradise is popular with both families and couples who want a quieter alternative to some of the rowdier spots in town. Guests begin their stay at the open-air lobby, with natural wood columns that support high wood-beamed ceilings. The grounds are covered with thick, lush jungle and the occasional covered gazebo-style sitting area with tables and raised platforms with quintessentially Thai triangle cushions. The hotel's sandy beach is small and remains shaded throughout much of the day, but there's a pretty multi-tiered pool that gets a bit more sunlight. The overall ambience is casual, and while the beachside restaurant can get lively at night, the atmosphere is relatively calm. 

The Sensi Paradise is set in a patch of jungle off the beach and just around the corner from busy Mae Haad Town and its ferry pier. Guests arriving by car or tuk-tuk will have to go the long way, via a winding road, but there is a shortcut into town via a pedestrian-only seaside trail -- the walk takes around 10 minutes. 

Lodging options at Sensi Paradise include bungalows, villas, and three-bedroom family houses, all of which have polished wood interior walls and decor featuring traditional Thai motifs. The construction was eco-friendly, incorporating local wood and stone. Rooms tend to be dimly lit and the surrounding jungle means they don't get a lot of natural light, but they do have big, furnished private decks. All rooms come with free Wi-Fi and either fans or air-conditioning. Beds have gauzy mosquito netting and quality bedding. Towels, stocked minibars, coffee facilities, and safes are provided. Bathrooms may be a bit too rustic for some tastes; some just have freestanding showerheads next to the toilets, while others are open-air. Toiletries (in ceramic containers) include shampoo, soap, and lotion, but no conditioner. Breakfast is included in the room rates. 

Arguably the property's most attractive feature is its multi-tiered set of wide pools that are surrounded by shaded lounge chairs and jungle. The resort's lone restaurant is right on the beach and is charming at night when the lights from boats in the bay create a magical ambience. The breakfast, while free, is a bit limited; guests can choose one choice from the set menu. Items offered include fruits, croissants, eggs, and local dishes. Dinner is typically more popular with guests. The views, at least, are amazing. Room service is available during the restaurant's operating hours. 

There's also a small souvenir shop selling everything from batiked sarongs to bug spray. 

The beach has some attractive rock formations but is quite small. Free rentals of snorkel masks, fins, and life vests are available. The property also organizes excursions, such as boat snorkel trips around the island.
